Shelly, thanks for testing, i was looking at an air erasable pen as an alternative, it comes with a eraser too, but its pink, do you think it'll show up on black? Does anyone own one of these pens? I might just take a gamble on it.

*Louise*, I hate having to unpick, i hope you catch back up soon, you are doing great on it :) I'm sure you'll make the November deadline.

I'm currently making a start on my cross stitch xmas cards, i will make it my challenge to have them all stitched by the end of this month :rotfl:

    You're welcome, glad to help.

I have a purple air erasable pen and it's fantastic on light coloured fabric but doesn't show up on black fabric. IMO I don't think any colour pen other than white will show up on black fabric.

I did find a white air erasable pen online once.....didn't order it though as the postage from US to here for a small lightweight pen was $30!!

You could take a gamble on the pink pen.....worst that could happen is it won't be wasted as you can use it on light coloured fabrics.

(a bit off topic again) chiggy, I only used calmomile lotion. I never seen a doctor about it, which I would have now instead of suffering. When are you due?

More stitching done on the ocean scene but I've run out of a few colours:mad:, which is anoying as it was a kit that was supposed to have everything you need.

NMM....I googled white air erasable pen in the hope one was now available in the UK and I came across this site... http://www.thecharmedfish.co.uk/General-Sewing-Notions_B22CT1.aspx
They have the pen for £3.50 and 50p delivery!

There isn't much info about the pen so I used their contact form to ask for more info. Soon as I hear back I'll let you know.

This site has a water erasable white pen for £4.55 delivered http://www.barnyarns.co.uk/Pens-c-2077.html

What brand is the kit? See if you can find contact details and get in touch with them. I ran out of a few colours in a DMC kit awhile ago. I got in touch with them and they sent me a skein of every colour in the kit.

You will have to let me know what you think of it once you have tried it. Handy to know if it's any good or not incase my pencil isn't as good as I think it is :D

I've also ran out of threads with a kit before and contacted them from the address on the pack and they sent me everything I needed at no extra cost :) I was really impressed as I'd had to write to USA and thought they wouldn't send it to UK customers.

Have been umming and ahhing about going to the HobbyCrafts / Crafts for Xmas show at the NEC. Last day today.

Have counted the stash and decided that as I only have two unstarted kits (and three in progress shhhh!) that that isn't actually all that bad. Honest.

Am going. Wish me luck - it'll be packed and I'll spend money

P.S. All those promised a Santa nudge - I'll be doing them at work tomorrow so hopefully get them in the post then.

    Hi Mags,

I've PM'd you but it's not showing in my "sent" folder so not sure if it will reach you. Just in case, thank you so much for your nudge :T. Now, which one do I start first ? Target is get 3 done for Christmas cards.

    Linda
