Hi Louise and Keiss, and Sammy and everyone else whose porley, hope you are all feeling better? i thought i was yesterday and went on a mission to London for work... (i'll tell you about the V&A's stunning stitching colleciton another time) ... but today have been back ill again and had to go home early from work . My OH lands at midnight tomorow, so i'm taking tomorow off to get better and tidy the house so he doesnt think all i've done is sit sewing whilst he's been away!

Louise - i had to take a second look, you've done so much stitching i thought it was a different picture all together!

Ruth - Love your Meery Meercats! made me chuckle out loud!!

Elliep - Sorry to hear life's been tough. I hope things are looking up now. Nice to 'see you' again though. (A lot of people have fallen on the 'monthly' challenge for various reasons - myself included!)

Hello! I have not been stitching as much as usual lately but I love seeing picture progress... I am curious as to what the numbers for people mean. Will you explain it to me?

Lovely work everyone- I should be marking but am bored so have snook on here after reading my work emails he he!
cassolete Bubbles started it up just to get us motivated to finish our UFO's. I'm afraid that after coming on here I have found so many more things I want to do that my UFO has taken a lot longer than maybe it should have done but then I don't mind, just like the company myself!

Right back to marking!

Hi - you see all over these boards that posters are a member of 'this thread' or 'that thread', well in April Bubbles listed us all with numbers and copied down our Monthly challenge which was our personal target we set ourself.

I found it quite useful and still set targets (see my sig lol), Bubbles hasn't been feeling up to listing the stuff lately (((hugs to Bubbles))) and when elliep asked about her number I thought I would just look up the numbers so people can put them in their sig if they want.

Ps - I have added you to the member list if that's ok feels free to let us know about any targets you set yourself.

I've sadly not done much stitching either due to illness and life in general my poor calendar bears still only has 4 bears done. Oh well here's hoping i get going again soon.

hi everyone,

i managed to get my camera accepted by the computer, so finally here's a photo of the Scarecrow Sampler.... :j:j see, for taking so very long, it's really quite small! i really like it though, and am starting to ponder if my Uncle really would appreciate it, or whether i should just keep it!

i'm thinking to cut it down, fray the edges and stick it onto a card... anyone have any better ideas?




and here's a pic of the lovely Lucky Swallow (thanks again Louise!). I started it last Thursday, and as i've not been well, its been a good project to pick up... i've done some, unpicked a little, done some more...
