Hi guys, welcome to all the new people, i look forward to the UFO pics
This is my progress so far on the African Lions clicky i will update properly tomorrow, too dark now to take a photo.
That is absolutely incredible! Wow, such detail. At the moment I'm working on my John Barrowman cross stitch and hoping to have it finished by the weekend. Will post a picture as soon as it's done and then it's onto another UFO which is a bear in the bathroom "Leaving a mess is unbearable" lol. This thread will definately keep me motivated and give me a kick up the backside lol!
Cheers

Can I have your thoughts please? I'm not the fastest stitcher so would really need to get started if I'm to finish by June.
TIA
btw - what does UFO stand for?
Hi TIA, I really like the Celtic one the most (the last one), it's fabulous!
Cheers

casper, thanks the lions are lovely to work on. I must admit i've never done a human coss stitch, its always been bears and such like, i'm very intrigued to see your JB.
TIA, i agree with casper the 3rd one was the one i liked most and it should easily be completed by June.

Was going to say the same TIA definitely the celtic sampler one would be quicker to get done. I love their stuff though - have got a Christmas tree UFO to do for next year by the same company,.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Thank you for starting the thread for 2010. I certainly found the thread a great help/motivator this year, I finished The Holiday Train and As far as We go for Christmas Presents. And yes they were grateful received.
This is one of my current work in processes: http://www.sewandso.co.uk/cgi-bin/find/db.cgi?db=zoom&do=search_results&Prod_Code=10665&ww=1
Glad to hear you're feeling better Mrs M.

Can I join in please? I've hardly stitched at all for months. This might get me back on track. I was given a new Michael Powell kit for Xmas which I plan to take with me on holiday in Jan.0

Book addict and Amanita - I like your proposed designs - good luck with them.0

OMG, I agree with others...where would you sew it, never mind display it!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks for looking chickywiggle - I still haven't found any that I like better than the H&E Astronomer though. There are a couple of moon pictures, which are near photographic, but he would still find fault with the representation (I know I do!)
I vaguely remember you can get photographs converted into cross-stitch charts...so if I can find one of our better aurora piccies of yesteryear, perhaps I can get that made up (my ideal, but it could be a nightmare, and not quite right!!).
Off to finish reading the rest of this thread...goodness knows what else has been posted!
