That sounds fabulous. I'd love to have some company when I'm stitching. Would you mind me asking how your group was set up please ?

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Does anyone want a useless husband and a toddler?? said toddler has been awake tantraming at me since 3.30am and is gonna find himself dumped in the middle of the park to find his own way home soon*
*only kidding
Have got hardly any stitching done as barly talking to hubby this week and have shut myself away in the bedroom (when not cooking for him or cleaning up after him). I did sort some of those boxes of stash out tho and they are now in a big 5 drawer see thro unit...... much nicer.
to top it all off i'm 8 weeks pregnant again (planned - stupidly), supposed to be resting and instead doing twice as much and arguong twice as much.
so i have been reading the thread but not really been in the mood for replying (sorry)
sorrry had to rant (apparently all my friends have a life and no-ones around to talk too).
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Hi everyone :hello:
I doubt any of you remember me, I posted a few times last year (it was me who originally recommended Across Town!) but I had to put my stitching on hold as I couldn't concentrate where I was pregnant and trying to keep up with my daughter
I had posted a pic of my progress of "A Dictionary of Tea" which was going to be a christmas present for my mum here:

I'm pleased to say this is now finished (it only took me a year :rotfl:)
Hi Kindof I love that stocking, Elliot will love it!
Chicky huge hugs, I know how difficult toddlers can be but please go and sit down with a cuppa and a biccie and put your feet up. Rant away if it'll help

Hugs for you Chicky - they (toddlers) just know when to be at their worst - I have palmed mine off on his big sister (8) who is helping him play on the wii while I trog through dull schoolwork. Try to take it easy and sod the house and dh for a while.
The crafty saturdays was just one lady at one church who put up a poster asking if anyone wanted to go along to their church hall and for £1.50 spend as much or as little of a day doing whatever crafty thing you wanted. There were a lot of knitters, a few card makers, a few stitchers and some ladies who had to make things for cubs/brownies/sunday school who brought their stuff along. We took our own lunch but tea, coffee and biccies were provided. It was really nice and informal and people came and went as they wanted (I stayed all day since I had a free pass out of our insane asylum of a home)
Have nearly got there with a quilt square I'm doing for love quilts - will post a piccy when it's done.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
