Hi Sorry I do read the threads but I still don't seem to have got round to posting my UFO images on here sorry for being so lame! I have been on holiday recently so I will use that as my excuse!

Maria and the imps - I LOVE LOVE LOVE the charlie and lola cross stitch - I was just wondering where you got them from as I have been looking for some for a while but can't seem to find any anywhere my sort of niece loves Charlie and Lola and I would really love to make her a birthday card!

As well as cross stitch ufos I also have knitting, crocheting and sewing ufos lol! Since joining this thread though I am pleased to say that I have finished one of my cross stitch projects only another 5ish to go!!!!
    Keep on comping!

    Which one??? :)

It is called 'A Rosy Night', it is a picture of a mermaid sat on a rose :) looks really bright and colourful (also looks difficult to stitch, sooooo many pages of charts, lol!)

Wow Louise, the meercats are fairly coming along!! You don't half sew quickly!!!

Maria, you have really been busy, what lovely pieces of work!!

Drove my friend to hospital for another eye-check this morning and took along the coaster I am making for my BIL. I only cut up the material last night as well as sewing in threads in to mark the centre lines.

Quite pleased that I managed to get a reasonable bit done.

Will post piccies of it and the quilt square once I have finished them both.

Must get back tsomething productive...I feel some sewing coming on!! :D

Hey Bubbles, it's good to see you. :D

Aww I'm sure your mum will appreciate it once she's over the shock.

I'm looking forward to seeing it on Thurs, we're so proud of you for putting pen to paper and sending your story in. :T:T

Awesome2; THANK you so much for the chart, it's fab and for all your hard
work in rubbing out the pencil marks so there is a workable chart. Hope to get
going on it soon when I've finished a few other projects. Thanks again.

Am having a bit of a woohoo day today as dh has phoned to say he has now lost 2 stone with sw (and we have just been away for a week) and his new job, which he is in training for every night this week, will be full time sort of hours - so next week will be 9-4,9-4,4-7pm (some evening shifts), 9-4.30, 9-4.30 +extra shift saturday afternoon - he is going to be sooooo tired after 18 months out of work! (Sorry this is completely off topic)

I have been stitching Fillmore a bit too - but the above news is far more exciting tbh. Other stitching news is that because of all these hours dh can't come to London with us next weekend to see our new niece so I will have to stay in the hotel room with the kids, and will have to do something quiet which won't disturb them ie. stitch - so have 3 nights of quiet stitching to look forward too!

It's currently 74 cms long, but it's going to be about 150cms when it's finished. :)

It's moving along at speed now which is great.
  • I think it's lovely. I like the colour too :) x
