Wow everyone is so talented on this site, loving seeing all the updated pictures.

MrsM just had an e-mail from Jayne at Sewalong, she has added the whole silhouette (sp?) range to her list, they are all so lovely but I will be strong and stick to Pixie Dust (i will, i will).

Does anyone know what Laguna evenweave is? Is it just ordinary evenweave, does laguna refer to the colour?

Louise your vision by the lake is so beautiful, it was seeing that that made me look at the HAE charts to begin with.

Have a happy stitching day everyone

    Hi Maria,

Thanks for the compliment. I'm starting to like it alot more now that the fishes are taking shape.

I'm debabting as to whether hang it behind the fish tank or in the living room.

Louise and Mrs M -loving your H&E designs.

    Morning all

thought I would pop in whilst I have a cuppa and then I will get on with some more sewing...
Kez -I was looking on the sew-along site yesterday and spotted that she had added that range you like :T-you can be strong and resist the others *lets see for how long* :rotfl:
Jayne is brilliant..... and my fabric was despatched on Saturday too :j
The LAGUNA evenweave is 25ct ..the HAE designs are done on 25ct -over 1 thread  -Im doing mine on 28ct over 2 (so the same as 14ct)
if you want to swap -then your design will be the following size -depending on the fabric-
    25 count laguna -14"X11"
    18 count 19.5"X15.5"
    28ct/14ct 28"X20"
(don't forget to allow plenty extra for framing;)) -hope that makes sense :p
Jigga1985 - that is coming along great -I have now "googled" -so know what "cut thru designs" you are all talking about are :rotfl:
Book addict -your fish are looking lovely...and such nice pretty colours to work in too:D

Right -off to get a bit more done...have a great day everyone:D

Just had my delivery from SewAlong :j I had fun looking through the bits and pieces I had ordered (28 count material, Aida band, coasters/key fobs/fridges magnets to put work in), thought a bit disappointed not to have the Astronomer chart yet. It should come in the next week - I hope!

Have lots to do today (baking, computer work), hoping to get some sewing done this afternoon.

We have lots of rain here, though 8 miles away they have lots of snow...can't deicide which I prefer. Not planning on going out anywhere, so it doesn't matter!

Hi all, you've all been very busy lately. I'm afraid that I haven't done any actual stitching since before Xmas although I assembled an ancient UFO project idea e.g. for years I had heard of an idea about making heart shaped ornaments in pinks and reds and then hanging them on a sort of twiggy type tree. Well I kept putting this off and so finally this year, after taking down my Christmas tree, I removed all the heart shaped ornaments I'd made over the years and used them. And instead of a twiggy stand I draped them over some artificial ivy I had in 2 pots. Looks quite nice. No camera sorry.
