Thanks for your help on choosing a frame Louise, Shelly and Sweetcarer. I will be having a proper look later on today or tomorrow.

I am heading off soon to take things that my DS1 forgot to take to Uni to his GF's parents' house. He forgot the oddest set of things: a pair of jeans (he only has two :D), electric toothbrush (he took the charger) and his wok...a rather noticeable ommission !!
 Either his GF will take them up to him, or he will be down at her's this weekend...weather dependant of-course!!

It will be the longest trip (only 14 miles!) that I have driven in over 13 months. I am taking a friend and we will head off to a garden centre for a wander and possibly some lunch. I had planned on going later in the week, but more SNOW is forecast for later today and tomorrow, so today it is!!

I had an email from Jayne at SewAlong yesterday, saying that my order has been dispatched...(except for the Astronomer chart, which should come in another week or so). I have ordered 28-count evenweave as well as some aida bands, coasters, key-fobs and fridge magnets...so there is plenty to keep me occupied!

Right, must get the washing hung out before I go as well as sending emails to various folk.

OMG she gotta be joking if she thinks anyone is gonna pay that for the pic ! ... the kit for it costs less then £10 ! ..... if she gets 3 grand for it i'm gonna buy the kit and stitch it and sell it !

my Phoenex took me approx 9 months to stitch and i had to buy all the threads and aida ..... so on her calculations i should get at least £2,000 for it lol :D

    Hi all,

Sorry not been around for a while. Loving everyone's work.

I will admit now, I've not done much work on my fishes recently. I will try and post an update later.

Why after all that hard work, time and effort would someone want to sell their work?

I can entirely understand people selling their work. I would.

I enjoy the process of making cross stitch pictures but I don't have room for many on my walls and would be about as happy to sell a project as I am to give one away to a friend.

My selling requirement would be to get back at least the cost of the materials. It would be lovely to get at least minimum wage for my time but I know full well that isn't going to happen. If I could make my hobby fund itself and be able to use all the fancy threads and beads etc I'd be happy.
