Certainly worth investing in for large projects with quick changes of colour.
I haven't cross-stitched for about 2 weeks now, I'm sure I'll get into it again soon.
Thanks for suggesting this. Normally I just leave the needle in the last stitch and start a new needle with the next colour so it ends up looking like I am making lace! Can get a bit fiddly so i might be tempted by that gadget!Well iI think my nights of not sleeping have finally caught up with me....I slept for 11 hours last night  and im still tired lol im not sure stitching today will be a good idea or ill be unpicking it all tomorrow!
Thrifty Glad you found a nice stitchy groupand good luck with learning to knit, thats far beyond my talents lol id be terrible
Hugs to anyone who need them xxx
Challemge up-date I have done one more lavender flower head almost so that's another 110 french knots done.:j I have 2 more flower heads to do then that's it. Thanks to all the rain I can't get on my allotment so am getting more stitching time than normal for this time of year.
Happy stitching tomorrow!Cross Stitch Challenge Member ?Number 2013 challenge = to complete rest of millenium sampler.0 -

Here's this weeks update,
Last week....
and this week...
Didn't stitch at all yesterday and probably won't today either. My Dad was taken into hospital again late Wednesday night, another Angina attack.
Hopefully he will be home today, though he's annoyed not to be home already, he has a job he wanted to get finished today (he's a self employed tiler)
Going to try and get ironing done quickly this morning so I might get a few stitches done before visiting this afternoon:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

the england pattern i sent you i was looking at the other day and realised all the symbols are really similar so i have worked out how to print it out so that it is coloured blocks rather than symbols which has made it a million times easier to read, let me know if you want me to email you this version, i deleted your email address lol so will need it again

Thanks for the good wishes ladies. He's fine in himself but just waiting on the docs being happy with his heart rate.
I got my ironing done in super quick time so done a little dusting aswell. When hubby notices tonight he'll say I need a hospital bed too.....I hate cleaning as a rule
Now.....do I do some stitching or surfing? Maybe an hour of each before lunch:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
