:j:j:j
I finished adding all the backstitch/longstitch on the Golden Gate Bridge kit!!! I'll post a photo tomorrow as I'm too tired tonight.
I've also started stitching Balloon Girl and have got the main part of the girl stitched already. She's done in black thread, then has lots of odd colours dotted around the body. I'll take a photo of that tomorrow too, so you can see what I mean. It shouldn't take too long to stitch though, and I might even get it done before the threads for the quilt arrive. Using the fabric pen to grid the aida has helped so much with this kit. I'm so impressed with those pens. It saves loads of counting!
Everyone's stitching looks fab! I'm itching to start an afghan now. I have 2 pieces of afghan fabric in my stash. One is a very pale pink. I think the other is white. I quite fancy doing the Margaret Sherry cats on one. For me to keep, of course!
Off to bed for me now. I'm sooo tired today...night all! xCross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

It's the wash out type and I found it even washed out when I rinsed some stitching in cold water. Maybe like number 5 on this page? http://www.sewandso.co.uk/ran410-0.html
Afghan fabric-I'm pretty sure at least one of mine my mum bought for me in America. There's a shop in Newton Abbot which sells Reader Union (now RU Craft) stock and they had some cheap in there once. Also if you go to the shows, Sew It All has a good range at a good price.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

why do people post "chart only" unders "cross stitch kits" on ebay and not under "charts"
i thought i'd have a nosy thro but all the ones i check out are just chart!! Are people really that stupid or do they hope buyers don't read the "chart only" bit???
That really annoys me! I often look for cheap kits and hate it when it brings up charts only. Some of the prices for the charts are unbelievable!chickywiggle wrote: »long shot but does anyone have any 'disney dreams' charts??? i've just found them, aren't they amazing.Had never heard of them, but had a google and...omg I love the Tinkerbell one!!

Thanks for all that info, i really appreciate it0 -
Emzy I bought my last afghan from Wimblebees- I'm sorry I am not allowed to do links!
Everyone has been really busy and you are making some lovely looking things.
I have totally avoided the french knots and have visitied my MIL, done some gardening, sorted the threads for another flower fairy kit (which has no Knots in it Yay!), sorted my charlie and Lola threads and done nearly all the back stitching on my lavender fairy. So basically I have kept myself very busy just to avoid doing them:rotfl:
I am off to John Lewis tomorrow to get the remaining threads I don't have for the Charlie and Lola charts and I must remember to put my mag in my bag today as I left it in my sewing bag and so couldn't copy it:mad:
It is my 8th wedding anniversary tomorrow so we are packing the kids off to nursery and MIL's so we can have lunch out and a day shopping together. I can't remember the last time we actually spent a day together without the kids, it will be very strange but in a good way.
bubbles nice to see you back on, was wondering how you were. I know I am being a pain asking but do you keep a record of peoples challenge numbers as I would like to join in next month and I can't remember it from april. If anyone could tell me how to put it at the bottom of my posts too I would appreciate it.
