Thanks to Ruthhoney and dorastar about the copier and groups question. Am off on a copier finding mission tomorrow!:D
Have done 93 French knots today:eek::eek: and loads of back stitch but am watching the last series of Lost as I stitch so I'm not getting as frustrated as I might! Have 2 more squares of the blooming things left to do so about another 150 then! So wish I had cheated and bought 4 boxes of beads! Looks nice though.
    Night night all:A

Maria - how are you planning on finishing the edges of the afghan? Are you going to fringe or hem?

Not sure about mine yet, I want whatever is easiest to get it finished lol :o:rotfl:

Got 'Y' finished tonight - might just get Z done tomorrow to finish in time. Of course there is the edge to finish and the baby's name to add. We are decorating at the moment which s why I am falling behind somewhat.

    June Challenge,
member number 3 - To finish edging of afghan, stitch Liam's birth details and to complete letter 'A' for the quilting project. Oh...and complete the House picture....yikes.

    Morning all:wave:

Nice projects everyone. I am going to tackle some more knots and back stitch today, only about another 150 to do then it's done:j.

My mil did me an afhgan for each of my children and backed them with a cream fleece blanket. I much prefer that than fringing as it doesn't get in their mouths. Also the fleece means they are lovely to use as buggy blankets, snuggle into in the car blankets and they put them on top of their beds when they had grown out of the cot. I will treasure them forever.

    Hi Guys

I've finally (!!!!) got the anniversary present back and am pretty pleased with it

I've taken a photo of it but not being technically minded can some tell me how to insert it into a post please?

I also have decided to make a 'mountainofdebt' family heirloom (haha) - or as hubby said (hopefully tongue in cheek!) another peice of carp to lie around the house.

As a result I've often fancied one of those floor frames can anyone give me some tips as to what to look out for or any recommendations?

    Hi ladies.

    Everyone's work is looking great!

    :mad::mad::mad:GRRRRRRR SOORRRYYY SMALL RANT:mad::mad::mad:

why do people post "chart only" unders "cross stitch kits" on ebay and not under "charts"

i thought i'd have a nosy thro but all the ones i check out are just chart!! Are people really that stupid or do they hope buyers don't read the "chart only" bit???

I do believe some sellers hope buyers don't read the descriptions properly and judging by some of the threads on the ebay board a lot of buyers DON'T read the descriptions!
Many 'kits' I have fell in love with on ebay turn out to be just charts when I have read the description so I haven't bought them because the price for a chart only has been way too much.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:

Some great work going on here :)

I've seen on a few pieces that you've got 10x10 grids marked out. Do you draw these on yourself (what with?) or can you get aida/evenweave with grids on?

Max is coming on nicely - I'm almost sorry I've got to go back to work tomorrow...:D
