Reminded of something my hubby did. I am diabetic and I have a treat on a Friday night of having some chocolate (just normal chocolate). Went into the cupboard tonight to do it and it was gone!!!! Hubby had ate it :eek: - he was hungry the other night there.

:eek: Sweetcarer, I'm a diabetic too. Pain in the bum isn't it! I found out age 16 so I'm kind of used to it now and can sneak in the odd treat here and there. I share your frustration, it's jolly annoying when you've hidden a treat to find out that someone has snaffled it. Bet they didn't even enjoy it either. Chocolate tastes so much better to me now it's a banned substance :rotfl:

Simac the one ive bought is actually meant for a christmas tree, but they actually do some the same size that are 'proper' christmas ones on that site, if I get on ok with the one ive bought im going to buy of couple of those for our christmas tree

I would hate to be diabetic so have great sympathy for both of you. Sweetcarer I hope your husband feels extremely guilty.

I think a round mount would work very well too. Maybe in an ice blue if it would go with your decor?

Its stupid that the jury can be intimidated so easily, you should write a letter to the sun explaining it and they might fight to get it changed.

Clearing your grandmas house will be hard, there will be times when you cant stop crying then you will find something else that brings the memorys back and you will be laughing your head off. It might do you some good, I know when we cleared my aunts it was hard and emotionally draining but afterwards I felt kind of resigned to the fact I had to move on. it was easier then.

No 29 Erics Mummy target is to finish my peacock

Might need a Lost catch up weekend! I need to concentrate on it-ie. not watching whilst stitching!-so that's how come we got so far behind.

Clearing the house will definately be tough, but at least mum & I will be doing it together. She's done some on her own already. It'll take a while, but it has to be done.

Jury service-I'm just glad it's all over & done with now. I've learnt quite a bit from it-good & bad. Was very impressed with some of the barristers there. You could tell the ones that were really good.

I've heard it's good too, but not sure if it's my 'thing'. Will wait til it's out on Sky I think. Films don't seem to take that long before they appear on there now. Will definately be going to the cinema to watch Sex & the city 2 next month, though! :j
