Not been to London for a long time - used to stay with some of late hubbys family but they no speak to me now - so where is good to stay?
Depends on how central you want to be I suppose? I like Premier Inns as they are consistently nice. I bought two nights at the Tower Bridge one when they do those rooms from £29 and it came to £190 in total. That was room only. Though there are some up in the Russell Square area that are a bit cheaper per night.

The Newton's Law bookmark is coming along, but is challenging...

Sorry to butt in, but I saved the website in my favourites, so thought I'd reply. http://www.pictureframesexpress.co.uk/

Oohh Thanks Ruth_Honey, I've bookmarked it now too. It's much cheaper on there than the last place I looked...and they do round mounts! I think because of the shape of the picture, my bears would look nicer with a round mount. Fingers crossed for your hubby, I hope his job is safe, it's awful waiting to find out xxx

And thanks Emzy, I'm gonna look at those 3d houses now. My mum wants me to make her one to hang on the Christmas tree! Is that even possible how big do they end up???

    My round, drink anyone :beer::beer::beer:
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

Bubbles-Hope you're feeling better now. There are some horrible people on the forum and there was no need for them to follow you onto here. Don't rise to it-just report them and come back here for some friendly faces!
I'm a Lost fan too, but I am soooo far behind. My Sky+ has episodes from last season on there! :o

I finished my jury service yesterday. I had 2 cases in total-both lasting a half day, then a full day, with the closing speaches & verdict given the following day. The first case was not guilty. I still think the girl did it, but as there wasn't enough evidence to prove it, and the witness accounts didn't match up, we had to find her not guilty. The 2nd case we found the woman and man both guilty. They will be setenced in 4 weeks. She cried when the verdict was read out and the man looked upset too. There was a man in the public gallery who we assumed was the girls boyfriend. He was a huge, very imtimidating man and was watching us all through the trial. I was a bit concerned to find out that he was hanging around the car park after the verdict, so didn't leave until he was gone. Had nightmares that night too, and woke up screaming in the early hours. Jury service should not be like that. You shouldn't feel vunerable doing it. Anyway, that case finished on Wednesday and although we were called back on Thursday, there were no cases for me, so was told to leave about noon and not to worry about coming in today. :)

I was hoping to go to London zoo over the weekend, but it looks like it's going to be raining Sat & Sun. Could go on Monday as we're staying at a hotel near Tower Bridge, but that would mean taking the overnight bag with us as you can't check into the hotel until 3pm....hmmm...what to to? Booked tickets to see Bill Bailey in June-got front row seats! :j
I'm off to Gloucester to see Mum next week. We're going to spend a couple of days going through Grandma's house and sorting things out. It'll be so strange with her not there offering us bacon sarnies and endless cups of tea. I miss her so much. :(

Right, I'd better get some washing on and maybe sit down and stitch for a couple of hours before hubby gets home.

I love Lost its really starting to pull together now and we find out what it all meant soon so you need to catch up before someon spoils it!

Its stupid that the jury can be intimidated so easily, you should write a letter to the sun explaining it and they might fight to get it changed.

Clearing your grandmas house will be hard, there will be times when you cant stop crying then you will find something else that brings the memorys back and you will be laughing your head off. It might do you some good, I know when we cleared my aunts it was hard and emotionally draining but afterwards I felt kind of resigned to the fact I had to move on. it was easier then.

Emzy I made the mistake at looking at the 3d site and have fallen in love with loads of stuff. Gonna get my dad to buy me a lottery ticket tomorrow now!

    On and as for numbers:

No 27 Ruth Honey wants to finish the Everything Brings Joy chart, also wants to wash & finish the backstitch on the Golden Gate bridge kit

No 28 Mad as a march hare finish the main image of UFO – minus backstitch

No 29 Erics Mum my target is to finish my peacock

    My house! ;)
Depends how close to 'the action' you want to be, I guess. We're zone 4, so central London not too far on the tube, but if you want countryside, that's quite close the other way.

Reminded of something my hubby did. I am diabetic and I have a treat on a Friday night of having some chocolate (just normal chocolate). Went into the cupboard tonight to do it and it was gone!!!! Hubby had ate it  - he was hungry the other night there.

Sorry sweetie. Didn't mean to bring you down.

Actually, I've not had a brilliant day either. My hubby came home from work & told me his job is at risk. He should find out within 30 days if he'll be made redundant or not. :(

forgot to say sorry about your husbands job. I know before I left work there were redundancies and it was a horrible feeling.
