Got dragged out into the garden by two small people who were desperate to play in the sunshine - am hoping dh is home soon cos I need a nap and some sewing time and I have no patience left with the small noisy ones. Am going to stick my head in a huge cup of coffee and hope they go away for a few minutes:p

    Hi Gang

Here is my update of golden earth.

    Week2.jpg

Really trying to work on it - as my depression is hurting me badly. I have a lot of worries and really trying not to let them get to me. Just an awful week. Anyway it is really nice seeing everyones work and support for each other - I don't have many friends - no one nearby anyway - so it is nice to have some support in here. Thank you girls (and boys if they are about).

    Kind wishes to all

    sweetcarer ;)
:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j

    Hi ladies.

Louise, Kez, nmm, witchwoo and sweetcarer, your projects are coming along great!

Here's my update a day early because I am finished!! :j

This is where I was 2 weeks ago on the 15th,
    Photo-0178-1.jpg

    This is today, all done!
    28-3-10d-1.jpg

I didn't give her any toes because they looked odd! I couldn't get them to look right at all. I think she looks ok without them but hubby doesn't agree.....but what does he know! :D

I am ready to go with the Fuschia Fairy tomorrow, threads are sorted and chart is photocopied.
I did think about doing a kit for myself and leaving the Fuschia Fairy until after but decided I'd rather do the fairy so that I know they are both done and framed then I can do kits for myself.
I think I will definately do the Rose fairy again at some point because roses are one of my fav flowers and it was a joy to stitch.

hmmm housework or stitching today? No contest:j
now that's just naughty! Are you sure Pigpen isn't listening. funfairprincess:wave:glad to see you have done your housework first:rotfl:I am a part -time flylady now I have found this area, 3 out of 5 stars will do me.

thank you to everyone for the welcomes, have done a bit more tonight of my flower fairy, I have the rose one too somewhere in my stash! (along with quite a few more:o) I have stopped going to the shows until I have just one suitcase of stuff to do. I have a quite a few large dimensions kits to do and am half way through "Rocky point", unrolled it the other day and my pins have rusted:eek:. Fortunately the rust marks are well into the border but hope a wash will get them out anyway. I have been doing that one on and off for about 5 years but as dorastar has said, a couple of kids can definately take up your me-time!

how do you post photos? not sure if I can do it.

Wow, everyone has been stitching so fast!! Brilliant updates guys :T:T:T

I haven't got any stitching done today at all - I went upstairs to clean and ended up emptying the wardrobes and cupboards and clearing them all out - am knackered now!

Sitting watching 28 weeks later, so will pick up my stitching now to distract me frrom the gory zombie bits lol

I upload pics from my pc to photobucket. Then I usually resize them to 50% of original size to post them on a thread. Under the pic you want to post there will be a few links (can't remember them all as I have turned most of mine off so I don't use the wrong one) I copy and paste the one that says 'IMG code' into my thread post (I prefer that one because then it shows only my pic, I think the others actually link to your album online)

I usually preview post to make sure it looks like I want it to then submit.

Feel free to ask for more info if you need it either on this thread or via PM :)
