Been fiddling about trying to make something that looks like a chocolate egg out of felt ! Not doing very well.......have to do it by hand as I've no machine......anyone have any ideas how to do it ?
I was just going to stuff it and put glass beads at the bottom to weight it down, stick some goggle eyes on -just a daft sort of Easter pressie.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I sent a link for Little Cotton Rabbits web site, fabulous knitted animals. There is a section for free patterns and one of those patterns is for mini stockings and another for easter eggs. Let me know if you have any more problems Karren and I will copy and paste the free patterns to you in a pm.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Hello everyone - hope you don't mind if I join in. I am going to try and make as many gifts as I can this year for Birthdays and Christmas. I've already made my first gift for my nephews daughter - a crochetd crayon pouch which I am going to fill with crayons and wrap up with some colored paper. Click on the link below for a picture of the pouch - was VERY easy and only took an hour.

Never fear! Arm yourself with a glue gun and a wad of felt and there'll be no stopping you! Seriously there are many craft things to make with no sewing or what I like to call hidden sewing (sewing only in small parts where something felty can be glued on top of!). The gifts in a jar are good to start with, and many wreaths and christmas ornaments can be created with glue skills. I have links to non sewing ideas if you'd like them.

OMG how busy have you all been. You've put me to shame:o Not much crafting being done here, have had to do my books (the accountant rang me to ask where they were - could've sworn I'd done them, but realised that I started and not finished:eek:). Anyway, all done now - so looking forward to a weekend of crafting!!!
Anyway, I've been shopping today (yes again ) and have added more to my stash. Just thought I'd let you know that Poundland have large packs of adhesive diamonds in atm. They also had some red, green and yellow card in.
Also Tesco have reduced their Christmas craft kits to pennies - I got mini pom poms for 22p, pipe cleaners, ribbons, felt and googlie eyes in a pack for 50p. The Christmas ribbons are also reduced to 24p - got a lovely red one with white stitching down the sides.
Apologies for not thanking everyone who has posted an idea, but there were so many pages that I'm just skim reading - sorry.
I found a fab no knit/crochet scarf which if I can find some nice yarn at a good price I will definately make.0 -

Not sure if this is what you're after, but might be of use.0 -
