Princesspoppypop - loved your blog - you make lovely things

Could I ask - where did you get the chicken pattern from or did you make it up yourself?

Hello cbsexec the pattern for the chickens is from the The Organic Kids Collection by Rowan.
    http://www.laughinghens.com/knitting-pattern-page.asp?patternpageid=8828
They also sell kits to make up the chickens in John Lewis for around £25 which includes , pattern, yarn, needles and a bag to carry your project in.

In the poundshop today they had some lovely woden brushes, so im aiming to jazz up the two I bought, one for my little girl 6 and my neice 3, i thought I could make thier initials out of gemstones then varnish? Ive some butterfly's somewhere that would look nice too, and then get some hairbands etc and make up a hamper.

princesspoppypop your bracelet is gorgeous wish you'd make me one lol. What is your blog again? Everyone is raving about it - I need to see!!!

Leisa I love your stuff! Your little ghost is so cute, I love him!

Can I pick your brains please? Last xmas I made a square around scrapbook for my mum and dad and filled it with photos and little pictures done by our boys. They loved it, so am thinking of something similar for this year.

I thought of doing some kind of book with a page per month, with photos of the boys in that month (with my mum and dad if I can get them all to sit still long enough!), a little crafty thing the boys have made (like snowflakes for January), and I don't know what else. Am off to have a google now for some ideas, but wondered if anyone has good ideas about what type of book to do. Have seen those explosion boxes but don't know how much fits in them... By the way, I have only the most very basic supplies and not much skill:o. Thanks for any ideas!

ETA: Just found your blog poppy on your profile [retires to browse with a biccie...]

jamtart - love the ice scraper............think I could do that by hand )don't have a sewing machine but it looks easy enough.

poppy - lovely stuff...........how do you make the ashtray can ? Not seen that before.

Somewhere on here I think there was a picture of bracelets and a necklace made from buttons............can't find it  Be a good way of using a load of buttons up.

Not done much today (stomach still bit 'iffy') but had a freebie of two sachets of decaf. tea so made a little gift type sachet to put them in for my sons birthday.
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
