Jamtart, I will. Going to try and prepare for cousins wedding and make the little wedding cakes as she's doing it on the cheap and I want to give something towards it, but I'll probably start with the plain cake pops. I've just ordered some edible ink pens and some lollipop sticks from eBay and I can't wait to get started!
I love the Hello Kitty ones on her website too, so that'll be one for me and my niece to do as she's mad on the Kitty!
SavingSu, that quilt is fabulous! Would love to hear about it whilst you're making it!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

Hello, i have been browsing the threads for ages now.
Just wondering, you know when making a pom pom, and you wrap the wool around the circle templates, do you keep wrapping until the hole in the middle has completely gone?
I haven't made one in years0 -
I am dying to do the wedding pops for my wedding but just don't know how it will work out.
I think "can of frosting" in the ingredients is like a mallow stuff here. I'll ask my auntie she is a baker

We used to do it till we couldn't poke the wool through anymore... so more or less till the holes were gone. I lost count of the amount of pom pom 'bugs' my sis and I used to make
Memories!
td111 briliant bargains there. Was that charity shops? I need a good charity shop rummage! Fed up of being stuck in!:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0 -
Jamtart, someone suggested creamcheese instead of frosting
And Bakerella herself suggested this one
Cream Cheese Buttercream frosting
1 stick butter (softened)
8 oz. cream cheese (softened)
4 cups confectioner's sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
Beat softened butter and cream cheese until well blended. Add sugar and vanilla until creamy. Easy!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -

If anyone was interested in buying this Big Bite STOP!!!! There's an even bigger bargain found by Myzdamena (I was lurking on the card makers thread)

Here the Big Bite is only £20 including P&P!! :money: (Everywhere seems to be selling them off, does that mean a new model is coming out???)...
I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Love the decoupage box...............think I might just have to do something like that.............did it years ago and for some reason lost interest but now I've seen that I want to have another go.
li'l_p -thanks for the hole punch tip..........might find something around that'll do the job for the time being till I get a proper one. Can't afford it at the minute with OH being off work ...........I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Oh Lordy, why did I look at this. Yes, it's £20.99, £19.99 with £1.00 postage. I already have the crop-a-dile! Do I need the Big Bite???
ETA: Ah, dammit, have ordered one. Have justified my purchase in that I will sell the crop-a-dile on... as ever with these things, I always struggle with the crop-a-dile as for me its quite wide to grip with one hand (I only have little hands) and the big bite has legs so stands on the table so will be easier to use.
Joy all round!
quicksave: It probably does mean a new version is coming out - usually the way with these things. I think that's why I got a good deal last time on the crop-a-dile.0 -
qwiksave - I don't know enough about all these bits of equipment to know -maybe its just a January sale
?
There seem to be so many tools to use for card/crafting - where on earth is the best place to start ?I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
