I just printed a design onto card and used chot choc etc in the little bags
  • Hi,
Chasingsunshine- I did loads of Snowman soup last year in cello bags I did the hot chocolate (4teaspoons) in a cellobag then with the top tied put it into another cello cone, put about 15 chocolate buttons in then about 12 mini white marshmellows to top it off. I sold loads of them for £1.50 a go last year. Ifound about 5 bags I had left when I went through my boxes the other day...thought they would be yucky but even the marshmellows were still good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Yesterday i did a spot of shopping for Christmas gift making, i need to start early!!
I have posted everything prices and pics on my home page if you want a nose, but they included some coasters, lovely chipboard flowers, tin buckets, jotters, bingo boards and a few other bits
So it may be worth a look round if you are planning a make-your-own Christmas

I came across this while blog hopping and thought I would share it with you, uses for empty fruit containers for gifts, the possiblities as to what you could put in them are endless!

Sharon - thanks for that.........I've often looked at some of the supermarket containers like that on their way to the recycling bin and thought there must be a use for them............perfect for those bits and pieces you've got no box for:T

Well my effort in the 'craft' area today has been painting the word 'smile' on 4 pebbles to pop in with all the other odds and ends in the family shoeboxes...............after that neighbour came round with set of craft drawers for me............got all excited but took me an age to fit the 13 drawers in and still don't think I've got them exactly right. Just need a place to put them now and give them a coat of paint:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I made some of these this year in January with saved Christmas cards instead of putting them in the recycling. They're pretty easy to make, the hardest part is cutting out all the circles. I got a fiskars round punch off ebay (1 1/2" I think) and it was a doddle to get them done. I'd recommend using small paper clips to hold the pieces together to dry after they've been glued. I'm hoping to get a bigger puch to make larger baubles and then maybe get DH to encourage his scout group to make them and sell at Christmas time to raise funds.
