Oh please, no more links to crafty sites :rotfl: I am already bursting with excitement at all the lovely clever things to make. I don't know where to start!:rotfl:

Actually, I do know where to start .... I'm going to do the washing up and then sit down and make a list of people to make birthday and Christmas pressies for. What a great way to spend New Year's Day!

Happy New Crafting Year, everybody!:j My new year resolution is to do something creative every day.

Hi everyone, i have made some christmas cards today...must want something to do, I made a new year resolution. Craft in the mornings and then no turning the pc on till after lunch, otherwise i`m on pc all day.

When i was in harrods in december i seen some cocktiail sticks with holders on the top. They were 6 for £6!!!!! So i came home and made about 100 and used them a couple days ago at a party.

Everyone commented on them so i thought i`d make some for my drinks hampers next year, or socktails, or even just as presents. By changing the picture they could be used at other parties.
I`ve taken a photo, just have to work out how to uploaded, they only cost a few pennies and some time.
So i`ll post a photo soon as, Happy New Year all xx

    Right hope this works....

To make i just used clipart, (put two pictures on each sheet as they`re double sided) and used foam double sided pads to attach.
I also had another idea for cocktails where you could cut out apiece so it would fit over the rim of the glass.

I used them for cheese, pineapples , sausages and pickled onions and i have orders to do some for a birthday party with childrens characters on.

I am tickled pink that there are so many fabulous ideas on this thread already! I have ordered loads of books and have been browsing all the blogs and links highlighted here and my OH is now feeling very nervous! I think our whole home may turn in to a show room of my attempts at crafts. My problem is when I have made something that has worked I just don't want to let it go to another home!

I can`t wait to get started on the car and desk buddies which are teddies made from felt with cross stitch sayings on their fronts. Might even add a few drops of essential oils so they smell all lovely!
