Artydoll ~ your blanket is beautiful.

I taught myself to crochet earlier this year and can appreciate the work that went into that! Fab!

Oh cripes, I was part of last year's thread up until Christmas and then I stopped looking as I won't start crafting for Chrimbo again until the end of the year and I didn't think there would be much activity :doh:I've been reading in segments and I'm up to page 32 and already have tons of great ideas, there is some lovely blogs out there! Have to say my absolute favourite is the vintage look scarf from Hand Made Heart Felted, made from lacey scraps and trimmings, I will definately be making one of those! Brilliant for spring where it's still chilly in the evening but not cold enough to need a massive chunky scarf. Sure I'll be posting again as I read firther through all the posts!

Thanks for the nice feedback on my bunnies. they are for an easter party tomorrow, hopefully they will be well received.

My housewarming gift for the hostess, was going to be a bouquet of cleaning cloths but ended up as a basket....

    Lessons learnt:

*dusters look good as roses. Cloths with no edging are not as good.
    * florists tape is tricky to use
    * florists wire is too thin to take the weight of a cleaning cloth and bends over
    * taping the wire into the flowers is even more tricky.
    * youtube lulled me into thinking this would be easier than it was :(

That is fab Katsu, I have also had difficulty on attaching the wire using the tape although on my last attempt I finally made 2 baby bouquets quite successfully, but I love the house warming pressie!

Deejane/Giggles - how did you attach the wires?

deejane - how did you get your bouquet to work. I could not get the wire to hold the rose head up - it drooped too much and fell off. :(
