Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Brilliant bunnies :T (replied on Easter thread so repeating myself here............lol)
susan - lovely stuff...........really must have a go at one of those handbag ones...........I've got a chunky bracelet I can't wear anymore............think I could 'recycle' that maybe ?
Guilty of non-crafting today........except for one scrapbook page - one !!:eek: Honestly..........I really useless at times. Not helped by OH deciding to clear out junk room that leads off the kitchen -got a builder coming to give a quote tomorrow on transforming it a bit...........lol (well, a lot I hope)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Susan Stunning - I really like the first one. Were they hard to make?0

SUSAN they are gorgeous, really beautiful.
Have not done any crafting for ages. Next on the list is a little pouch for my niece's birthday to hold crayons. Not sure how it will go, but I have some leftover fabrics, so if it doesn't work out I won't really have lost anything.0 -
Susan, they're really lovely, especuially like the first one. I have made my Easter cards and bits and pieces and am now settling down to some serious cooking. I shall feel very domesticated come the weekend!

Susan, well done, they are beautiful! I'm so impressed.
No crafting for me, other than a few rows of knitting on my OHs scarf. Been quite busy with other things on mind, but now there will be plenty of time for crafting as I have a very poor month ahead of me! Though I don't mind, I am actually over the moon - I finally settled a debt which was with a DCA today! Been paying it back for years, had £1000 left to go and they settled for £400, so bit the bullet and did it. I'm soooooo happy, but my social life will now be knitting

Well done on settling the debt Helsieboo.
I have just ordered some silk pieces that I hope lend themselves to becoming scarves and bags....

helsieboo = well done :T
Not done much today apart from another scrapbook page.................day was interrupted with builder coming to give quote for downstairs loo..........began to wish I'd not asked -all sounds so complicated.
Scrapbook stuff arrived that I sent for on special offer.........all brilliant.............didn't quite know what I'd get but I'll use it all:j
Every intention of attacking the button jar again to make bracelet but the day seemed to fly by..............oh well, maybe tomorrow ??I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

love your bunnies katsu! How have you made them? They look like really lovely gifts.
Thanks all for the feedback. The small lint choc bunnies came from Whittards - a box of 10 for £4.
To make them you need:
* a flannel (I used packs of 7 (I think) for £2 from primark)
* small sticky circles (I got mine from staples for £1.80 for several hundred)
* sewing cotton
* curling ribbon (ordinary ribbon could be used)
* small chocolates or candles (you can see a candle bunny in the top of the photo)
* cotton wool ball for a tail
* gift bags (I got mine from lakeland, a pack of 50 for £2.29 http://www.lakeland.co.uk/F/product/12007)
Instructions:
1 - lay the flannel out flat. Fold a corner into the centre, then fold the opposite corner in to meet it.
2 - now roll the flannel up into a sausage starting with a new flat edge you made. It will be fatter in the middle and have two thin ends.
3 - fold the sausage in half with the thin ends (or ears) at the top. Use an elastic band to hold it together.
4 - take your cotton and tie around the flannel in two places - one for the bottom of the head, and one for the top (look at the photos to see where to tie). Remove elastic band.
5 - tie a ribbon over the bottom cotton to make a neck tie feature
6 - decorate 3 stickers for eyes and nose (see photo for my different designs)
7 - stick on stickers using photo as a guide
8 - turn bunnie over and fill hole in back with cotton wool ball
9 - put sweet or candle in front hole in tummy.
10 - put in bag and tie bag with ribbon.
