And here's a bag I made for myself yesterday, my sister made herself one last year and I liked it so she bought me the fabric and pattern for Xmas and I have just got round to making it up. Have cut out a further two to make up for my stall if ever I get one lol.

Thank you. They have taken me a couple of months to do the two. I was doing a bit of each so it made the time seem to go quicker. Now started the hand quilting on my sons one but that is quite a bit smaller so wont take so long to do xx

    CONGRATULATIONS LAURA!!

    MARY -OP
Now..............need to pick your brains............at the boot fair I got a brand new pair of knee length socks, plain black...........any ideas what I can do with them ?
They were only 10p...........couldn't resist them...................lol:rotfl:

How about a pint of socks - pint glass + black socks in bottom and a white or cream flannel on top? So it looks like a pint of Guiness?

Or how about some sort of sock puppet - a spider and a ladybird?

How do u only quote part of a quote or quote and reply to multiple quotes?

    Nearly finished scrapbook :j:j:j:j

Now need ideas on what to put in twiglet tubs (empty ones...........lol) that I've covered in pretty paper.
I've done 3 'pamper pots' - only other idea I could come up with was a 'relaxation pot'...........aromatherapy candles, joss sticks.............then I'm stuck as to what else ??????
    Any ideas ?

Mary - how about a chocolate tub - Drinking chocolate, milk, white and plain chocs, choc chips for cooking, choc recipes.......?

    Morning all,

Haven't been on here for a while but think I have just about caught up now.

And to top it off my boyfriend of 13 years finally got round to proposing to me - with the most amazing ring I've ever seen :j:j:j
Congratulations, Laura. That ring sounds as though it deserves to be photographed and shown!!!!

Sorry - I've not been around for a while. I have been busy making things, though so will gather up the pics and post very soon.
