Wow Mary - Bargain on the scrapbook! I bet your button necklaces are gorgeous! With ribbons on the spine I'm very much a random girl, just keep adding them till they look right to you ;)

Graffitti Chic is this class! She is offering $10 off her classes which ends today (look on her blog if you are interested for the code ;) ) so it worked out at just over £27 for the class. It's so much fun. SO messy but can see me using the techniques in a LOT of stuff. :D

I would say random was the way to go Mary, you remember the 'Things to Make' notebook I made, that had random ribbons.

Whoopidoo, can't wait to see the results of your grafitti creations. Bet its great fun!

I haven't been on in a while, but I have been quietly busy making stuff and putting it on my blog.

Yesterday I made these chocolate treats:

    and recently I've made this:

    and this:

    and this:

    All on my blog! ;)

whoopidoo...........thanks for the link. Brilliant stuff and despite the 'age' thing I'd love to have a go but at the minute I reel at anything that might cost with OH being off work and money being so tight. Looks like good fun though.
Thanks for the advice on ribbons........I'll go with the 'random' - expect I'll spend days fiddling till it looks right.........still, I've got till April 14th..........lol

Now..............need to pick your brains............at the boot fair I got a brand new pair of knee length socks, plain black...........any ideas what I can do with them ?
They were only 10p...........couldn't resist them...................lol:rotfl:

And.........my pots.......for an 'emergency' one (bits in that everyone always runs out of) what can I put in apart from
    elastoplast
    batteries
    string
    fuse wire (maybe?)
    tea bag -or two
couple of pens & small pad of paper

now brains run out of ideas....................
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

qwiksave - thanks for reminding me.........just had a look at your blog.............you do some brilliant stuff..........:T
Mention of picture frames reminded me..........I've got a few kicking about I was going to take to the charity shop.............bigt daft when I could probably do something with them for a pressie..........had them ages so can't remember what they cost but they were boot fair or charity shop buys so wouldn't have been much and I've had my use out of them.
Oh, if I'm really clever and careful I can have an almost 'cost free' christmas.................:rotfl:

Mary - what about candles for power cuts? Ooh and matches to light them with?

I know what you mean about justifying buying stuff. I sold my Bind-It-All to pay for the class :P I bought it at the last September Ally Pally and it still hadn't come out the box so it went. Day after paying for the class I was in there playing so I definitely made the right decision :)

    Morning all,

Haven't been on here for a while but think I have just about caught up now.

I turned 30 on Friday and have had the most amazing birthday ever, filled with loads of crafty books and a brand new sewing machine, so can't wait to get started. And to top it off my boyfriend of 13 years finally got round to proposing to me - with the most amazing ring I've ever seen :j:j:j God this years going to be a busy one :T Best head over to the hand crafted weddings forum, god help me if there are anywhere near as many wonderful ideas as there are on here I could be on it for the next few months catching up. I wonder when I will start actually making some christmas pressies!?

Have a fab day all, looks like its going to be another beautiful one xxx
