Crafting for Christmas 2010, lets begin again......

I know this isn't really 'crafting' but my grandson will be 3 in June............I got a 'Little Squirt' chefs hat from the Freebie Board (didn't realise it would be a small one) and it made me think I could maybe do a sort of cooking hamper of sorts for grandson, complete with chefs hat.
I can only think of mixing bowl, spoons/whisk, packets of cake mix, instant whip (can you still buy that?) -things he'd find easy to do...............any ideas ?I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

How about making up the dry ingredients for cookies, layer the flour, sugar, etc in a cellophane bag, tie the kneck. write the instructions on a label and attach it to the bag.
Also you could- put in some fun pastry cutters
- make him an apron to go with the hat
- spatula (Asda had some coloured ones)
- cup cake baking tray
- pretty cupcake papers
- cake decorations

I am however, still beavering away at my blanket and have now done 47 squares so I'm quite proud of that. Take care all, will post some piccies when I get my blog up and running. Thank you all for your helpful posts on setting one up :A
Hi Sallypurple
Just wondered are you knitting your blanket? If you are knitting the squares can I please be nosey and ask where you found the pattern :embarasse. My dd would love a blanket and I have just bought the crochet mag but it will take me ages to learn all the different stitches. I am not too bad at knitting so this would be much easier.
Many thanks

well I have done a few more earings now and a couple of bracelets.. I also have finished my tiara( I added a bit of colour and stuff lol).. I am going to try and get a big storage box with some smaller boxes in to store the presents so they don't get lost or damaged.
Anyone else feeling a little down today?
I don't feel I have a valid reason, just no happy clouds in my sky today.. weird.
