Here's the quilt I am going to be working on for the next few years......... well, maybe hopefully it will be ready by Christmas! I am hand stitching it, following the outlines as I go, starting with the animals.

Love the quilt. It will be an heirloom for whoever receives it.

I had never heard of this before so I had to google 'amigurumi' to find out what it was. Following up the leads I came across this and thought it might be fun to make. OOh, mary, I wish you could get set up with a digital camera, your stuff sounds so interesting!

I've just edited my blog just now, the valentine tags I made last night needed some modernisation!

Thanks for that link, he is a nice chubby Santa. I've saved the link to my favourites and I'm going to have a look now at what other patterns they have. I have already seen tonnes I want to make, namely a cute giraffe. But I think I need to start small? That is if I get started at all...

What a cute santa - wish my fingers were more agile so I could knit again. I'd have a go at that.

qwiksave - just got upgrade on my mobile so when I've worked out how to use it (need a degree for that!) I'll see if I can put some piccys on.
Bear with me...........could take me some time

Right just set up my sewing machine in my make do craft room now just have to find somewhere to put the piles of material/ wool/ craft things then I can actually do some crafting - however slightly concerned as have been drinking red wine whilst sorting the room out so may be to tipsy to actually create anything!!

I'm wondering if I'll have my first make completed by the end of Feb :))
