Managed to pick up the 800g mince in a llanelli store (S.Wales)
Pack price was £2.22 but a SEL and POS infront stating £1.92. Took to CS where I stated I have been overcharged, the lady pulled teh mince out of my bag pointed at the pack price and give me a smug look as if I was stupid and said "look thats what you pay" I replied, "thats not what it sais on your labels"
She went on to say how that was the price per Kilo which is wrong because if £1.92 was the price per kilo my overcharge was even greater. I showed ger the POS and SEL and then she admitted she had to give a R+R
Tic Tacs were correctly labelled at £1.150 -

It's Christmas everyday at Tesco's, plenty of free gifts for everyone!
I did find more mistakes near Christmas probably due to the price fluctuations increasing in Sales season0 -

Bleugh - I haven't said anything to anyone else about being possibly being banned, its just that from reading other posts on here I'm aware that Tesco staff do sometimes ban customers and I don't want to take any silly risks. I always do buy a fair bit of other stuff, I've no way of checking before I go through the checkout what I will actually be charged so its all a bit of a gamble. I'm very polite and low key - ' I'm sorry to be a nuisance but i think you've charged me a bit too much /my discount doesn't seem to have come off ' etc and I've never made a fuss or had a problem before. Some of the staff do recognise me - its not a huge store and the same staff are bound to recognise regular customers whether they get refunds or not.
I don't appear to be going against the spirit of the deal - but I feel Tesco are as it doesn't seem reasonable to expect me to check prices with CS before I pay for stuff. I do check prices afterwards against my receipt and sometimes things are wrong - even when I've had no suspicion beforehand that there might be an R & R chance. I'm just concerned that I could run into problems if I take anything back - I'm not planning on making a fuss at all but I'm a little disturbed by her attitude that I can't ever take back a wrongly priced item simply because she knows I've taken something back before. This store does make quite a few mistakes and its inevitable that I will be overcharged in the future - even if I don't go actively looking for it -she seems to expect me just to grin and bear it.ELITE 5:2

hi.... you had to know the tesco policy as ..they were going to refund the diff... it was only when i took the customer serivce girl over to the wall and pointed out the last bit on their policy that i had a full r & r.....they also tried to tell me that it wasnt the right sel for the product, but i made sure it was before i bought the chicken.... it took a manager and a few supervisors to look and then offer only refund of dif... as by the looks of it ....not many people claim there...... so be on your toes.... and act dull, but know their policy.. if that makes sense...so i will be popping in when i am in neath, as its opp.. boots.... and i love boots ....you can get lovely loophole bargins there....
go for it chelle333... be confident......have you done any in other tesco stores ?:rotfl:Work to live= not live to work0 -

i had a gameboy advance game in neath abbey on wednesday, when i done the rounds of the tescos.......they were a little bit naff in their attitude.... asking me if i had taken the plastic cover off. and i hadnt the guy at the till had when i was paying.....she took me over hte the games and had a look through ...but she was telling me that it had been priced wrong.... a very reluctant r & r but did not have to ask.......so since tuesday.... i have had
2 game boy advance.....total value....£29.94 ( i think )
3 packs of chicken breasts healthy living £8.40
ecover washing powder 1.2kg value £4.39
all these items have been mentioned or i have listed the chicken one on the mis-price thread......
so my total freebie r & r's so far... this week....£42.73.......
so i have made myself a little " shopping list " of other people's finds... so i will know where to look the next time......i think this could be a regular days outing for me.....visiting various tescos.....
also i am going to the bull dog bash in a fortnight..so will have to make sure all the beer is drunk so there is room in the bike panias for r & r's on the way home...so will have to print out a store locator ..there must be loads of tescos btween stratford..... and swansea......:DWork to live= not live to work0
