I think that would be worse if I didnt get the lush legends knowing that there were so few people.

I spent £64 on various birthday presents for the coming months and got Winter Wonderland, Fairy Tales and 12 Days of Christmas and was very pleased. I did get one of the two gold hat boxes but they were made after October os had to put it back. Still, it didn't spoil it for me and I will probably be back there next year. I may check the date on them on Christmas Eve though!

:rotfl:yes that was me!! I think the guy with the kid had the right idea by getting him to run in!!as he was short enough to go under the door when it opened lol! (perhaps I should be training my 3 1/2 year old for next year lol)- he picked up a legends too but I didnt see it go back so wasnt sure if it was within the right date.

I got completely overwhelmed and walked around for ages but I ended up getting a fairytale box - bit cheaper in value then others but I wasnt as keen on the contents of the others and I loved the box!. I also got a grab bag as it was just xmas stock I was after if plan A (legends) or plan B(art of bathing) wernt available, which they wernt -boo!. What I originally wanted was a xmas eve box but new they didnt have any as i went in to see what they had left on xmas eve, and they were all out then - and by the time i realised the art of bathing box wasnt in date for a freebie I was to late for the wonderlands!

This always happends to me in the sales I have a plan and then something happends that completely throws me off! I will be more organised next year and will join you with my tea!

same! i've already begun to plan my line of attack next year. i am getting there WAY earlier, and i like the idea of going in on xmas eve to check stock.

Ha I guess if I'd have wanted it. I got one in the sale last year so wasn't too keen on getting the same again...still have the soap left over from it as well.

I did ask this at my store in Cornwall and they will only be adding more of the £20 bags for the spend £20 get one of these bags free deal. This may not be how it is across the board for stores though, as this store wasn't selling any pre-October styuff. Tis quite a small shop.
If you are on Facebook, your local store may have a page on there which has info or you can ask the question there.

I went to the one at covent garden at like 1 oclock and got a 12 days of christmas box which i'm happy about because i bath bombs! there were 3 when i got there and 1 left when i finished shopping which took about 5 minutes! i was under the impression that there would be random boxes where the contents were unknown but there weren't?

Went to the Leicester store this morning. No large gift boxes left but plenty of lucky dip bags. The bags each contained one of the smaller Christmas gift boxes plus a few extra items. Spent £100 on presents and stocking up for the year and got a Vanilla perfume worth £25 plus four bags containing three Snow Fairy boxes worth £9.95 each, another gift box worth £14.50, two 500ml and one 250ml Snow Fairy shower gels, 7 ballistics/bubble bars and two bars of soap. Total value of gifts was about £115, so very happy. They were also offering the large blocks of soap as freebies.

The staff were fantastic - clearly explained the offer on entering the store and had all of the eligible gifts together at the front of the store so no hunting for 'made on' dates. They said that most of the large gifts had been sold before Christmas this year, so not many to give away. The offer seems fairer than last year as more people will have the chance to get a gift worth £20+.

it was absolutely dead when i went past at 12 (and it shut at 5.30) so i wouldn't be surprised if there's something left... either way they should still be doing a promotion as i'm sure they said instore that when the boxes and bags run out then it'll be spend £20 get an item free?

on a similar note, anyone know if the bournemouth store has anything left?
