Susan, I play peekaboo with Molly while doing them, and since I can manage about 60 before collapsing in a sweaty heap I do that twice a day with the plan to build up to well over 150 as time goes on. I'm at 870 I think, so far.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Hi,
Only had time to read the last page
Hurrah for pushchairs arriving, Kiera for eating, babies sleeping while mummy eats.
Boo to Royal Mail for miscalculating holidays.
No real news here apart from feeling all itchy and dusty, there is building work going on at work which today has involved the builder knocking a door and window out of a wall next to my office.
Katie has had two showers today one this morning with me and then this afternoon with Grandma's help as she managed to get hold of her body wash and try and dry wash her hair!
Hugs all round.
I must get my menu for next week planned so I can do my shopping list for weekend.Proud to be dealing with my debts

My husband thinks I'm being extreme because I have one Christmas present bought and all but three birthday presents. We went through our diarys yesterday and I was running through who we still need for and he was sarcasticly (but in a jokey way not a nasty way) saying, "We've only got eleven months till Christmas."
I got 2 travel essential bags with smellies £18 down to £4.50 (MIL & Dad's GF), a star Trek Mug for my Dad £6 down to £1.50, A fairtrade Tea Gift Set for mum £12 down to £3, 3 small photo frames for sisters £8 down to £2 and a petrol can money box for my bro £10 down to £2.50!
Also got myself a lovely box set photo album - with 3 photo albums inside for £2.50!
When I got home I remembered I had 4 sisters to buy for :doh:not 3 (well, 5 but one is only 9)Buttonmoons wrote: »Well I gave Keira chicken and mashed potatoes, neither of which she actually likes (apparently) she devoured the mashed potatoes, and took some cajoling but she did at least TRY the roast chicken, and then spat it back out as it tasted like "poop" apparently!
But that's progress at least! We are going to make our own pizzas for tea tomorrow night, so she can put the toppings on her own one, and will eat it (OR ELSE!!)Chuffed to bits, she ate some spuds lol how sad.
And how does Keira know what poop tastes like?
MDW - Lol @ katie's 2 showers :rotfl:
Just cooking tea then quick tidy round, n start getting J ready for bed so if I'm not on again now will be back around 9pm.A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Becles - that pic is fantastic!! Where is that train my boys would LOVE it!!!
It's at Darlington. It's off the A66 near Morton Park industrial Estate. There's a Morrisons there where you can park up and walk to it.
Stockton and Darlington was a hotbed of inventors and railways were born there. There's a lot of railway history in the area, and the sculpture is to commemorate that.
If you visit and your boys like trains, it's worth going to Locomotion at Shildon which is a few miles north of Darlington. They have the original buildings where Timothy Hackworth (railway pioneer) lived and worked and lots of history about railway development. Then there's a huge shed with loads of engines, carriages and trucks that are part of the National Rail Musum collection. It's a worth a visit if you're ever up here, and it's free entry too.
*collects anorak and spotters pad, and slinks out*Here I go again on my own....0 -
Ey Becles where is the free entry place? I took DS to the railway museum and it was about £6.
Also i didn't know you could get to it from Morrys:rotfl: I don't use that one much though, just go there for the McD's. Whereabouts are you?

That's how I got to the train, cut through Morrisons with a nutter dog that pulled me over in the mud when I was wearing my flip flops.

Free museum is at Shildon. Here's their website:

I'm a bit further north, in a village near Chester le Street, but I occasionally drive down to the Darlington area for work. Here I go again on my own....0
