Woohoo!! Amber stayed asleep while i ate my food for ONCE!!

I automatically cut my food up into fork-shovel-able chunks now because i can guarantee she'll cry when i sit down to eat no matter how much milk i force into her while it's still cooking :rotfl:

I'm sure she'll get me back at 4am. or even worse, 6:30am when there's no point going back to sleep, but i do anyway and end up being in such a deep sleep that my alarms don't wake me up, and a grumpy DS cos i made him late for school

Ladies how long after the jabs are little ones off colour for? Isla had hers on Monday, she's not been too cranky really but the nappies have been awful _pale_

Ive not had a change in diet or anything, the only other thing is Ive been drinking fennel tea and taking fenugreek as felt like my supply still hadnt caught up with her demands no matter how much she fed. This was over a week ago I started though and the bad nappies have only been the last two days

    always a week here

    woohoo tia & beenie!

OH decided it was worth phoning Royal Mail about his holiday pay and it turns out they're using an incorrect formula to calculate it. Instead of doing 5.6 weeks divided by 46.4 weeks (i.e. 52-5.6) (which is what the government website says) they're doing 5.6 weeks divided by 52 weeks. Presumably they've been calculating it incorrectly every year but I only checked this year because the letter of employment incorrectly stated he would be paid on the basis of 24 days holiday per year. I dread to think how much money they've underpaid over the years if they've always been doing it like that.

The biggest downside I've noted so far is that I have no excuse to stop my situp regime :rotfl:
I was going to ask you about that actually. How do you manage to fit in that many? I reckon you'll be doing 137 per day but I find I get bored after 30 so the most I can bring myself to do is two blocks morning and evening which is only 120. Do you have a cunning trick to stop yourself from getting bored?

Susan, I play peekaboo with Molly while doing them, and since I can manage about 60 before collapsing in a sweaty heap I do that twice a day with the plan to build up to well over 150 as time goes on. I'm at 870 I think, so far.

My husband thinks I'm being extreme because I have one Christmas present bought and all but three birthday presents. We went through our diarys yesterday and I was running through who we still need for and he was sarcasticly (but in a jokey way not a nasty way) saying, "We've only got eleven months till Christmas."

Well I gave Keira chicken and mashed potatoes, neither of which she actually likes (apparently) she devoured the mashed potatoes, and took some cajoling but she did at least TRY the roast chicken, and then spat it back out as it tasted like "poop" apparently!

But that's progress at least! We are going to make our own pizzas for tea tomorrow night, so she can put the toppings on her own one, and will eat it (OR ELSE!!) :) Chuffed to bits, she ate some spuds lol how sad.
