    Evening x

I did quite well in Boots today, spent £53 this morning and saved £145. Then spent another £17 this afternoon. Got prezzies for 2 brothers, mum for birthday/mothers day. Same for MIL and same for Dad/FIL, well happy even treated myself and got Daniel a few things too so all in all a good day.

Les Miserables was AMAZING last night. Standing ovation well deserved. Me and Mum went for tea first and we ended up in a Meditteranean Buffett place. Yummy Yumster, was loads for awkward Annie (that's me veggie and lactose intolerant)

  • Evening all - will catch up on the last few pages in a mo.

It would appear Izzy picked up a tummy bug at nursery on Monday - she was a bit sick this morning, but seemed fine afterwards, so I put it down to random baby sickness, but had v&d this afternoon just before home time. She is sparko now. Hopefuly it will just be a quick thing and she will sleep it off. Poor baby.

Quick question - anyone know what the 13 month boosters are like - is she likely to get a temperature from them? Poor baby has them on Tuesday, then swine flu jab on the saturday. I bet she will remember the next time I take her to the docs, and protest when I take her in ;)

Thanks for the comments. Really pleased with the leg warmers, saves him dragging his babygrow legs around behind him. He is tall, but short legged!

I'm feeling a bit silly about cancelling the Homestart lady. I think I'll try and stick it out with the Nanny, hopefully I'll be in a better place in a week.

PALS phoned, Care-coordinator hasn't returned his call, so no update with that.

Sami, was that when 2 babies suffocated? The hammocks were used incorrectly, one was hung from a hook rather than the frame and the baby was put head at foot end right up rather than in the middle and the other the baby had injections and pain relief then placed on her side. The older ones there was a worry that metal washers scraping on metal could cause shards of metal to fall but the new ones all have plastic washers.
the recall thing says ones on sale from jan 03 - oct 09
its saved on my ipod so can easily get it but it says (paraphrased)
Hazard - the side to side shifting or tiling can cause infant to roll and get wedged at the side and suffocate
based on 2 deaths in june 09 and aug 09

its got 8th dec 09 as the recall release date x
