No, I haven't... really must do! Keep buying the chocolate then eating it! :o

Course I don't mind! :D It's not strapped to the side, it's resting up on the gel sausage which made a ring around him, covered in a sheet. He has a splint on it (foam blocks and velcro straps) which was to keep his ankle bent at the same angle, so he didn't dislodge the canula in his foot.

That would have been a drug one in his right foot; TNP (nutrional fluid they have before EBM) was in left foot; thingy to take blood out was in his right hand (he had hourly blood gas tests where they took 0.2ml of blood a time) and another drug one in his left hand.

Um, I've done that with the chocolate too. There is a nearly-finished bar of Morrisons value fruit and nut in the fridge that someone opened

Ah, it would be the splint. Doh! He went through so much, didn't he (and you and Craig too). Such an amazing gorgeous little boy.

    Hi all :)

Welcome back Caz! Happy Birthday Charlie!

Would love to come to a meet but think I'm a bit out of the way from everyone :(

Can't bear to watch the news at the minute with all the crying babies/orphans from the earthquake. I watched it at dinnertime and was crying buckets. It's just so awful it makes you realise how lucky you are. I gave Caitlyn an extra tight hug. I wish I could hug all the poor little babies over there.

Caitlyn's in bed and I'll be joining her soon! DH not been home from work long and is now fast asleep on the sofa. Going to Ikea tomorrow with my sister so am excited about that! (Sad I know!)

booboo, I have phases of Ed having weird latch and or unexplained sore patches, do try different positions esp if you have a small patch of soreness and it could be a bump on his gum rubbing on it and the differnt angle will give it a bit of respite.
    Does that make sense?

  • More hugs for MFD! My son has become clingy over the the last few days and I'm not used to it at all! Poppy was/is a Daddy's girl .

Aw SB, Benjamin started with the clingyness over the weekend. I thought it was because we spent the weekend celebrating MILs birthday so there were lots of 'strangers' around. Apparently not

I am hoping he just sensed that I was really stressed and was reacting to that.

Hope that JJ settles down soon xx

Caz - I am back at work full time, Benjamin goes to a lovely childminder 4 days a week and MIL has him on a Wednesday. Benjamin has 2 teeth, is finally starting to grow hair and I can't keep him still! He kisses everybody except me ATM and he will stand for daddy but not for me! His first words were 'no, no' :rotfl::rotfl:and as of today his favourite thing is clapping :T

I am SO pleased to see you xx

Thank you Sami, that makes total sense. I will try the rugby hold next feed (which will hopefully be soon) and see if that is less painful. Glad it wasnt like this at the beginning!!

Hi caz and sparkle (even though you've probs gone now)

[STRIKE]The Ex[/STRIKE] MoronFace rang me today, he seemed surprised that i wasn't pleased to hear from him  I haven't spoken to him since his mother was texting me her bullcrap. He was all excited that he's booked holidays from work to come visit (and presumably have me providing his accomodation and food, and let him swan off in MY car while he goes and visits his other kids that he can't be arsed to make the effort for) this weekend. I told him where to shove it  Yay me :D No more doormat :p :A

Yes, I'm a shy pee-er, and the last time he was hovering outside the bathroom and I couldn't produce a test sample. And it was a cheap test and I had to pee in a cup and submerge the stick for 3 minutes.

I took great pleasure in making sure that cup was the one I gave my brother coffee in while he was here.

I couldnt aim my wee in the tube the MW supplied for testing, so I used an old mug of OH's and tipped it in the tube from there, I take great pleasure in serving OH's tea in it when he's annoying me :rotfl::rotfl:

I used the own brand Boots one, the cheapo one not the digital one. It had a cap on it, and I put it in my bag to show the MW, but forgot to take it out after and it made OH want to cry everytime he saw it from the grossness of me carrying wee!
    And again... :shocked:_pale_
Can I ask a quick BF question. Toby is now 9 weeks old and the last few days my nipples have got soooo sore, when he latches on it is super painful for a little bit then eases thank god!! I can see a sore bit on each nipple and have been putting lansolin (sp?) cream on. The thing is, I am not sure why this has suddenly started happening 9 weeks in. Could it be where he is getting older and more forceful when he feeds?

Has anyone else had this happen? I guess I am asking for reassurance that it will get better again and stop hurting soon!! I did consider trying the rugby hold to see if that would help if he was latching on from a different angle? I am pretty sure he is still latching on correctly. Thanks in advance!!
It sounds like he's not taking enough nipple in at first and it's rubbing against his hard palate as he sucks it in a bit stronger to get it into position... How did it feel when you tried him in rugby ball position? Have you found yourself a booby group yet?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
