Well my doggy has been limping since yesterday and her paw is swollen, so the vet checked her paw for thorns/glass/whatever (i'd already done this anyway) and complained that her paws were too furry to see properly (
- she's a dog? lol).
Anyway she didn't find anything so gave her some painkiller/anti-inflammitory tablets and said to go back next week so hopefully it's just a sprain and will be okay soon!0 -
That sounds hopefull then Beenie... Its hard with animals isn't it... They can't tell us what's wrong... Just like babies...
Fingers crossed my baby does better tonight... I don't think I actually slept last night...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

It sounds like he's not taking enough nipple in at first and it's rubbing against his hard palate as he sucks it in a bit stronger to get it into position... How did it feel when you tried him in rugby ball position? Have you found yourself a booby group yet?
Thanks Krystal. Just fed him on the right which was the slightly less painful side, did the rugby ball hold and a little easier but still v sore. Now you say about him sucking it in to get it in position, I do see him doing this sometimes. Does it sound like he has got a bit lazy when latching on? If so, is there a way to sort this do you know? Thanks again for all your help, hope i can return the favour sometime! xxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Oh, ladies that had low blood pressure when pregnant... What's the best thing to help?
My sister has been told to do the opposite of what people with high blood pressure have to do and basically eat salty stuff..

Are you going to be "conveniently" out when he calls round?

Lol, that would go down a treat after he'd paid for the train up here :rotfl:
I doubt i'd turn him away if he'd made the effort, and especially if he took the risk not knowing if i'd let him in. It's all i've ever wanted from him really. But once he was here i know i'd [STRIKE]want to[/STRIKE] slap him senseless. I haven't seen him in person since i was about 7 months pregnant, and that wasn't on good terms.chopsticks wrote: »What's a parmo?

They can get a bit lazy... You need to make sure he's really opening his mouth wide, you can do this by making your nipple level with his nose so he has to tip his head back to get to it, his mouth will automatically open a bit wider... Another thing to try is just pushing his chin down a touch with your finger as he latches on, but some people find this a bit awkward if they're using both hands to support baby / breast...fattybooboo wrote: »Thanks Krystal. It does get better hun, in a few weeks he'll realise what he needs to do to get the milk flowing and start getting himself on a lot easier... You just need to hang in there and keep trying lots of different positions until you find one that's comfortable so you don't end up too sore...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
