jillie - the thought has crossed my mind, but I didn't want to immediately jump to colic as it's only been the past few days. If it carries on consistently for several more days then I think we'll look at the drops but for now it's tolerable/manageable and I don't like to use medicine unless absolutely necessary. Hopng it's just general baby crankiness - he for some ungodly reason just fed for 1 hour straight!!

darn it, elle, Iwanted to look at the piccies but FB has died on me for some reason

caz - love the photos! don't think we've met as I came along while you were away, but happy bday to your little one :D

I keep telling myself the bottle refusal is just a phase but it's been a week and he's too heavy for me to walk around and feed at the same time!

Kieren hasn't taken more than 4oz from a bottle in over 2 weeks and even thats a struggle to get it in him. Spoke to HV as he is barely gaining any weight as she reckons its down to teething.
I did however try him with #3 teats today and he has taken 2x6oz bottles :j

Hi Caz, Bruno will be delighted that you are OK, he has been worried about you! x

Hope you're ok Glam - I'd be tempted to set your OH on fire... and your BIL too just while you're at it.

    Lovely picture Caz :)

I've just been back to look at the pregnancy thread as I was heading off to be induced and then afterwards when Molly was born and there was a little tear in my eye.

My eldest DD didnt have a day time nap from about 9 months onwards too but i always put that down to there only being 17 months between DS and DD and she was so nosey she ws frightened she was missing anything, I hope Rose is not like that. She's had 20mins today, thats all, but is getting ready for bed now.

Rose likes scrambled egg but i think she finds the texture strange. If she doesnt close her mouth quick enough it falls out!

Does Rose get stroppy or grumpy when she's tired? Caitlin does but always fights sleep in the daytime. She does - usually - give in but it can take a while.

The scrambled egg went down OK but she only had half of it. That's fine though, as she's not used to having three meals. I gave it to her in fairly big lumps and it was quite funny watching her chomp away on it when she's only got one tooth (and that's only just poking out). According to my poor fingers, her hard gums are as good as teeth though!

Jealous? I'm annoyed! :p Nothing good about being this thin. Even Rhys' doc told me off yesterday  I was trying to "excuse" his weight gain patterns by comparing him to me and she said "Yes dear, but you need a few more decent meals - Rhys looks fine" :o

How about some RR? I haven't heard you mention you've made any of that for a while :D

I almost never iron anything. I iron things for weddings and OH sometimes needs stuff done but since he never decides something needs ironing until he's about to put it on, he just does it himself.

I could have written that! The last time I did some ironing was when I was pregnant and I wanted everything nicely ironed and in neat piles in the baby's chest of drawers. I even ironed the muslins and I remember Tara taking the p out of me :D

    Hi Caz :D

Sooooooooooooooooo glad to see you back (thanks for letting me know elle). I was worried.

Great news about your childminder. Nice to have something arranged that suits the two of you. The pic is just gorgeous.

Update from me ... back at work now since just after the new year. LO has four teeth and crawling. walking along with her vtech walker or wooden bricks one. thinks she's too big for her boots and has a massive personality to go with it. oh and curly hair, that gets even curlier when she's naughty (so they have been coming out a bit).

Oh, and I braved a trip back to Oz with LO all on my own!!!!!

    mwah...lovely to see you back
