Oh, ladies that had low blood pressure when pregnant... What's the best thing to help?

My sister has been told to do the opposite of what people with high blood pressure have to do and basically eat salty stuff..
I had no treatment for it as it wasn't 'that' low for me but eating salty food sounds silly to me  yes it will raise the blood pressure but also make her dehydrated and therefore higher risk of urinary infection and feinting.
I think eating liquorice can increase BP though :)

Krystal this say dehydration is bad for low bp
    Treatment for Low Blood Pressure
A person who is diagnosed with low blood pressure would be given certain medications to keep the blood pressure at a normal level. He or she would also be advised with some immediate measures to recover from low blood pressure.
    • If one is experiencing dizziness due to dehydration, it is very important to rehydrate oneself by drinking lots of water or a sports drink. This will help to higher the blood pressure level.
    • If a person has not eaten any food for a long period of time, there are high chances for him or her to feel dizzy. In this case, the solution is to eat something immediately. Even a piece of sandwich or fruit can make one feel better.
    • If you feel dizzy while getting up from a resting position, the best thing you can do is return back to that position and remain in the same way till the feeling passes. People suffering from orthostatic hypotension should always get up slowly from their resting position.
    • People who are diagnosed with hypotension are advised to increase the intake of salt in their food. However, as too much of salt is not good for the heart, it should not exceed certain limit.
    • Doctors may also recommend certain drugs that can help in treating low blood pressure including fludrocortisone, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, pyridostigmine, erythropoietin, caffeine, etc.
People who are diagnosed with low blood pressure are advised not to consume alcohol and should avoid going out in the sun. Before taking any medications for low blood pressure, it is very essential to consult the doctor to know how to raise blood pressure.

Ooh remote island, is it warm? :rotfl: (not hot though!)

The walls ARE stupidly thin, but whe i went she said they weren't banging. I said so what you doing to make all that racket constantly? She said "making tea"

So it looks like she's gone running to the housing woman first thing Monday (prob before i did ) and twisted the events her way.

The housing woman said the neighbour is bricking it cos she's a new tenant and i'm a secure tenant, so she can be 'removed' without notice if she's being anti social.
Woman also seems to have gone from sympathetic to me, to feeling sorry for noisy bint, cos noisy bint was nearly crying apparently. Stop flucking slamming doors then you !!!!!!!!
