right kids sorted zoe will be in bed with everything swtiched off at 5pm (so 20mins really) in more trouble from school not doing her work (everyone had wrote a page and a half at least she had wrote 3 words) she was complaining that it was coz she was tired so bed at 5pm for the next 3 days should sort that out .. her teacher said she'd let me know come friday if shes improved ..

spoke to gay OH told him off for nearly getting philip in to trouble so he has apologised ........ oh and hes told me coz of family troubles it looks like hes staying in machester

honestly this year is getting sh!tter and sh!tter .... think i might have my little bottle of cosmo i was saving it for val day but sod it x

I can do a guide for surviving the posh nursery when you aint posh.

1, do not expect anyone to have any manors, holding open a door is not theri job and if you do it, you must be staff.

2, children must be quiet and perfectly dressed at all times, any sign of individuality is frowned upon.

3, hat, scarf, gloves, shoes and coat must always match and be of a dark colour. Girls may have a spritzy bit of glitter but no bright colours.

4, children are expected to play only when appropriate and only if it is educational to do so. Colouring is a good activity, but only in pencil. Crayons, felt tips and pens are frowned upon for the messy potential.

5, children must attend singing, swimming, gymnastics, modern dance (slutty as possible for girls) and a music class each week. Mothers must always join in and demonstrate how they sang a certain note and impressed the tutor when in the waiting area, waiting, of course, till the waiting area is full.

6, if a child is seen displaying inappropriate behaviour (playing outside of structured play activities) the parents must be notified immediately by text, email, phone call and sky writer as well as as many people reminding them as possible.

7, one must never acknowledge ones husband standing with his hands down another childs Mother at any time.

8, of course we are privileged enough to use the car park thats clearly states 'no parking except staff and visitors'. Blindness to yellow lines of any sort or shape should also be cultivated.

9, a strict dress code applies to all Mothers at all times. High heels, white carpri slacks, tight twin set, brown artificial tan, dyed hair, a jaunty hat, belt or bag and full make up. Any non adherence to this dress code will result in immediate shunning.

chopsticks - I've just thought of something re: sleep. At that age LO liked to have a nap every 2 hours, pretty much on the button. Then she lengthened out her sleeps to just two a day, morning and after lunch.

However, as your LO sleeps well at night, I wouldn't worry too much about her daytime sleep as this will fluctuate and change lots over the next few months. Be very grateful for your evenings and night time sleep - AF and I are very jealous!

elle - I prescribe (no this isn't medical advice people!) Some proper carb loaded dinners. Please eat a huge bowl of maccaroni cheese for tea (as I did last night). My size 8's are nearly 10's so I know it works
