The special needs school school looks fab!
Very, very impressed and DH is happy too. Lovely staff, nice mix of children, lots of interaction with the main stream schools, both the one it's attatched too and he can also go to visit our local one too. So we are going for it. It's a class of P1-4, so lots of different levels but there is 1 adult to 5 children, lots of support.
Brilliant Tia! :T Do you & OH feel better now you've seen it?
One of the things I love about J's school is the connection it has with the school next door and other 'normal' schools. They're always visiting the one next door for lessons and lunch time groups, and the children (teenagers) from the one next door are always coming in and helping out in J's school. I think it does both sets of children lots of good.:beer:0 -

My friend's son goes to a special school (ASD and severe learning difficulties) and she loves his school... They're very pupil focused and have events on all the time for families to come and join in, she said she'd much rather go to an easter event at his school than at the school our girls are at...
I think I'm getting my nephew for the day tomorrow... My sister's in hospital with a suspected ectopic...
I'm feeling sorry for her... But also very very angry... Hard to explain...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thats what thsi one is like. Officially it is special needs, but because it is attatched to teh main stream, the children join in main stream classes for different things, some children from main stream who may need a bit extra help come in for support, classes are mixed ages and they are willing to try anything once and see how it goes.
I think I'm even ready to tackle the DLA form now! :rotfl:0 -
Aw Krystal, hope she is ok. Why are you angry? At her or about the ectopic?0

That's good news, Tia - is DH a bit happier now too?
And Jillie I've no idea if it's possible, or even which way I would like the stick to point.
Oh God. From the other room I can hear Husband's running commentary to Molly as he changes her and we have another front poopsplosion _pale_
I hope she's ok Krystal. Why are you angry, if that's not too personal a question?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

A few things... Mainly... She has 2 children already, 2 different dads... Is not living with the father of this one (they've been on off a couple of times... His ex in between went a bit mental at her in the summer threatening her, her job and the children!) She had a miscarriage in November which she told my 9yo neice about and she was devestated... She only rang me to tell me about this baby last night and told me both children were excited about it but she's had to tell nephew (5) that he can't tell anybody just yet in case the baby taker comes again! How's he going to be feeling now?!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Ah, I can see why the anger. She sounds a bit immature tbh. Surely after one miscarriage you wouldn't mention another pregnancy till you were pretty sure everything was ok?
Still, it is not a nice thing to go through.0 -
I feel so ill! Stupid cold!
Got into an argument at nursery with a kids big fat slob grandma. I was coming down the stairs and they were going up and she the big blob was huffing and puffing her way up and the little boy (also grossly fat) walked around me as I was holding onto the bannister coming down (clumsy) and she turned round and said "OH YOU COULD OF MOVED SO HE COULD OF HELD ONTO THE BANNISTER YOU B!TCH" I was like  She must be about 60 and she's talking like that?
I said "HE HAS LEGS! I didn't realise I had to move out of MY way when I was on the stairs first, HE MANGED FINE!" I mean this kid is 4 !!!!!!, he can climb a couple of flippin steps and has no problems when his mum takes him and he's practically cartwheeling down the flippin' things.
She was like OH DONT TALK TO ME LIKE THAT. I couldn't be bothered with her so I told her to p!ss off, and she started swearing at me, thought she was going to lynch me with her "walking sticks *cough DLA claim*"
In the end I shoved my way past her and told her she was a "BIG FAT MINK WHO STUNK OF B.O AND IF YOU STOPPED RAMMING KEBABS DOWN YOUR NECK YOU'D BE ABLE TO USE A SOAP AND SPONGE, GREASY SLOB"
Hope I don't see her when I go back, she might have a gang.....0
