Jillie, @ last night!! They are always fine by the time they are being seen though, I think they do it deliberately to make you feel silly ;)

Right, thanks to Glam and her slow cooking bolognese queen-ness I'm off and going to see how slow cooker bolognese works. Got myself a bit of a bargain in Iceland, their 820g of chilled lean mince are usually £4, I just bought 3 for £2.50 each :money: they need to be cooked today though! I may have also treated myself to a pack of rocky road fingers too...

My poor doggy has hurt her paw :(

No idea how she's done it but the bloke over the road was inspecting her pads yesterday for thorns and couldn't see anything. She's limping and it's swollen :(

Got an appt with vet at 5:15 so hopefully it's just a sprain or something

OMG Jillie, that sounds very traumatic for you, although I'm sure Kian wasn't too bothered! Glad that all is okay though.

Weezl- that seems an awfully long time between appointments, but I guess they don't actually do much at those in between MW apts anyway! Just more for Mum's reassuarance than anything really. Are you planning a home birth again? If so will you have someone come in to look after Fergie?

Hopefully yes to a homebirth as long as all stays safe in the mean time :)

Fergie-wise, he will probably go to neighbour while we wait for my mum to come, then he'll be here but with her. She'll take and hour and a half to 2 hrs, so I guess it depends if this labour is shorter than it was with fergie :)

If he's asleep, I'll be tempted to leave him, cos it's less disruptive :)

Hi Weezl – I remember feeling no one cared when I was pregnant with No.2 and 3. Even towards the end of my pregnancy with V the midwife didn’t want to see me weekly, she just said pop in if I need/want to. I think the assume that as you’ve done it before you’re an expert!

Thanks 3 I do feel a bit bereft! I'm adding to that though by not joining in with the pregnancy thread atm, which also wasa way of me making space to think about being PG last time. I realised a few months back that I couldn't keep up with both threads and felt that it was probably best to try to stay more in touch with you lot, than a bit fleeting and sporadic on 2 threads!

How are you feeling about SAHM ness? xxx

Claire thanks for saying thanks about the SAHM thoughts, but now I'm left wondering what you think! Wanna share? :)
