Morning
Taking Charlotte to a toddler day at the Centre for Life this morning. The theme is animals so she should enjoy it. She seems to like science-y type things so I wonder if that's where her future lies.
I dont know if im brave enough but when you're through at Newcastle, we should meet up sometime xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
MM - belated Happy Birthday for yesterday.
GISI/Hammy - hope your LO'd jags go ok later.
Beenie - I have a nasal aspirator and Holly really likes it. I thought it was a waste of money, but when she had the cold I was surprised how much mucus we could get out that cotton buds could not. I don't think it's an essential purchase but useful!0 -

How're you?
Nope, ante-natal visits are pretty few and far between in a second pregnancy that's low risk! We had a 28 week one (breech discovered) and now nothing til 35 weeks! Feels like I was always at the midwife last time
Must confess I haven't done any yoga moves or torch shining
Think I'm a bit in denial!

morning!
had an eventful evening/night here.
was cutting Kian's nails with the nail clipper and managed to cut his thumb(bad mummy). actually cut a piece of the skin. cue lots of crying and blood. managed to calm Kian down but the cut wouldnt stop bleeding. an hour later and phonecalls to both grannies on what to do we rang NHS direct to see if there was anything we could even buy to stop the bleeding. lovely nurse rang us back, went through what had we done to stop the bleeding etc. by now it was 1 1/2 hours since i had cut him and no sign of the bleeding stopping. so she said we had done everything (damp cotton compress held firm on his thumb) so to go to A & E!! had to get MIL to take us up to A & E. luckily its a 10/15 min drive away so not too bad. waited an hour to see DR who examined the cut. said it was a nice clean cut (great) and that there wasnt anything he could do as Kian is only 4 months and the cut would eventually stop bleeding. The cut was still bleeding slightly, so he said he would see if a little dressing could be put on. ( i think this was more for mummy and daddy's benefit than Kian's). So off we went to see a nurse who put a little dressing on his thumb. She said it would prob come off over night but if not to take it off this morning. So home we came. It was now 11.45 and we were all shattered. So DH changed Kian and I rang muy mum to let her know everything was ok. Kian was happy playing in his cot. Went over to give him a kiss goodnight and the dressing was off!! so it lasted about 45 mins!! lol!!!
This morning he is fine. No bother to him at all. Was fab at a&e, he smiled at all the dr, nurses we sawmummy is fine but still feels so bad for cutting him!!!
We also discovered last night he can take the soother from his mouth and throw it and roll onto one side !! so not all bad!!
Off to the dentist in a bit to have the crown fitted.
going to read back now from yesterday, see what i missed.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Bless Jillie. Glad it stopped. I hate cutting Rose's nail, they grow so quick, I have to do it twice a week xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090

Hopefully the council will show up today? We may have squirrels in the loft  DH rang to make an appointment yesterday but all they could say is they'll be round sometime between Tuesday and Friday?
