I know what you mean bear, I'd be the same. You don't really want to go but don't want to rock the boat either.

I wouldn't go Bear, either. I'm sorry it was so bad :(

I went to the Lush sale this morning - spent £60 but got £75 of free stuff. Very pleased, although apparently someone got punched by another customer for being too greedy. Now happily trawling the Next sale :)

Husband is being a rooster, though - he got a strop on over Christmas Day, and ended up stomping off upstairs. He came into town with me this morning, but was deliberately walking slowly knowing I wanted to get to Lush before 11 and that we were cutting it really fine. So I walked ahead, turning to check he was there whenever I turned a corner. He managed to lose sight of me, although I could see him and didn't realise he was lost - until he turned up inside Lush and shouted at me. Then we had a series of family to visit, and he was sitting about being silently angry. He then came back here still in a strop. I made dinner, and then it transpired that someone fed leftovers from two days ago to the dog and he stropped off again.

Hopefully he will be feeling slightly less annoyed tomorrow. I hate that he is upset, even though I think he's wildly overreacting.

He also bought my calendar for next year and slipped it into my Lush bag at some stage when I didn't notice.

MOTM - I was way out on the his n hers dressing gowns then!!

Caitlin taking three hours was a bit long :D I thought with the amount I gave to mine that the time they took was long enough, but it was less than 3 hours :D

You were a bit out, yes ;) Although maybe that's next :D

Or maybe some dummies for my 9 year olds. If they sing 'If you like her then you better put a ring on it' anymore and i'm sticking the nearest object in their gobs :D Currently photo albums :D Maybe some shoe laces as well to tie their legs together so they can't do that silly dance any longer :rotfl:

Not scared me off SM - I've been browsing the Boots and Argos websites for bargains, as I'm starting my shopping early too! Going into town tomorrow with my mum so was looking on the websites for ideas.

Pah to planning... ;) I'm spying more doubles in FB pics - Kian and Rhys had the same Xmas Eve PJs :D ETA: ...and Henry has the same tshirt as Rhys got from my (slightly distant) friend! :))
  • Evening all. I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas - I've only caught up on the last page or so, - Hugs to Bear - I wouldn't want to go tomorrow either.

We had a fab day yesterday - Izzy was very spoilt and has loads of fun playing with her new toys today - need to work out what to ask for her birthday now! She was a complete nightmare to get to bed tonight though - too many wonky days in a row I think. Never mind - I'm sat with my dinner now anyway :)

Have I missed anything in the last few weeks?
