By the time I'd had the 39 weeks I was actually quite ready to go back, and we definitely couldnt have coped with no money for 3 months anyway
Although I did find out since that I had 8 days holiday to take in 7 weeks, the sensible thing to do would have been to let me take it and then drop me to part time (would have been a nice xmas bonus!!) but my boss didnt want to do that, so now shes "in negotiation" with head office over how much I'm allowed to carry over and how much I'm allowed to be paid
Snap SM, been snotty for DAYS now and its getting ridiculous! Between OH and I we've been through 3 whole boxes of kleenex and are now working our way through the last loo roll. They lie when they say its soft!!Mummy to

Evening everybody, glad to see most had a good time, sorry about yours though Bear, ours didn't really happen either.
Ben and Maddy are much better though still a bit wobbly. DS1 who's 15 is still like it 2wks after so I think it will be the New Year before we are back to normal. On the positive side it means MIL cancelled seeing us, yipee! But I do feel sorry for OH as he was a bit upset when she said she spent yeaterday and today with his brothers family as they needed the help because SIL was in bed with the flu, !!!!!!! Mind you sympathy didn't last long when I remembered the carp he got me for Xmas, really had to grit my teeth today as he opened the one under the tree for him, tickets to see The Editors. And I remembered last night that I gave him a pressie weeks ago, a necklace that I saw when I was out, I paid £15 for it and he was supposed to wrap it and let the kids give it to me for Xmas. So not only did he not pay me for it he bl00dy lost it too, hmph!!!Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
