My HV said that you can buy the baby juice, but that it was a bit of a rip off and it has short dates so you might end up throwing it away and like buying baby pasta, your are just paying extra for the "baby" packaging/size. She said there was nothing wrong with giving adult juice (NFC) so might be more cost effective to do as Sami says (but nothing wrong with giving baby juice!). And for pasta, just break up spaghetti.0

Baby juice is fine, its just diluted fruit juice, so its full of natural sugar like normal juice is
But IMO its not diluted enough, I have given it to Seth but I diluted it more!
I normally just give him a tiny splash of our usual no added sugar squash in his water :shhh:Mummy to

not exactly.
You can get long life (UHT) NFC and you can get freshly squeezed out the fridge that isn't NFC.
Basically all it means that only the actual fruit is squezzed and goes into the juice rather than the peel and the skin and all that too.
It will say NFC on the label
Or it will say 'from concentrate'0 -
Don't get me wrong its not gonna hurt a baby I just wonder what the point is of buying juice that has been concentrated and then dialuted again when you can get it in it's natural state, surely the process loses nutriants? because they add vit c to them afterwards...0

All you had to say was 'glam it cheaper to do this.....' rather than tell her she'd just fed her son 'crap'.
Nothing wrong with having an opinion on baby juice, just be a wee bit careful of how you communicate that to others0 -
Just having a quick catch up whilst the aloe vera soaks into my palms - a bit too much steam came out of the steamer when I topped it up.
Aless - if he's unsettled he's might be having a bit of a growth spurt babies have them at regular intervals IIRC 10 days, 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 16-20 weeks all they want to do is feed which is all you can, so just keep feeding and he will settle down once your supply has caught up.
Juice - Katie loves the Aldi NFC OJ - she gets a little bit undiluted in the morning with her breakfast as it is before teeth cleaning the rest of the day it's diluted down much to her consernation.
Em - I do that too
