Sami, Don't read the USDA thread (or subsequent mad 50p a day challenges), they are sooooooo long you'll never escape :rotfl:

He works full time so he needs a lie in on weekend mornings. He wouldn't be happy if he had to get up and I stopped in bed.
ermm my immediate response to this is "tough" :p:o

  • We are also a household who alternate lie-ins, although slightly different for us as OH works shifts. I really look forward to my lie-in though, even though it's an only an extra hour in bed, it's just lovely getting up when I choose rather than when the baby cries.

Speaking of which, he was an angel last night! Went down at 9 (late for him) then slept till just before 5am! I couldn't believe it and my boobs were ready to explode. He then went down again till 8, when I woke him up so OH could go to bed in peace after his night shift!

Just waiting in for my Tesco delivery now. So typical that yesterday when I was desperate to get out it was raining all day, then today is gorgeous but I have to wait in till 12pm for Tesco . As soon as it's been Henry and I will be heading out though.

Weezl- naps are definitely the way to go in pregnancy. I found them much more restful than night time sleep for some reason.

Harley- well done you on your eBay listing and thanks for the free listing reminder.

will do on the lettuce. Have you been reading peter rabbit to christopher perchance?

Elle had made some vouchers for DH IIRC...

Glad that Aless and GISI are more rested :)

searchie sweetie I'm a bit worried about your headaches! Can I be a bit motherly and ask if you're eating enough? It's just that a 28 inch waist at your height after 2 babies doesn't really sound to me like you need to be dieting at all. Sorry if that's overstepping the mark, but you've said before that you see yourself as bigger than you are, and now you've been having a hurty head... xxx

Hmmmmm, I suppose I'm different then as I am an early riser and don't really appreciate a long lie.

I'm quite happy for my OH to have a lie in, but under no circumstances will I confine us all to one room or creep about my own house while he sleeps.
If he can sleep through family noise then he can stay in bed. Quite often he puts ear-plugs in if we are noisy. He does nightshifts aswell so he is used to sleeping through daytime noise.

Only thing I don't do if he is in bed is hoover, I'm not that cruel!

I really couldn't hand over K to OH at the weekend and do my own thing simply because he is my son, not a job I do M-F. We share his care most of the time but I could never say 'Your off today, your having him'

Becles, I can sympathise. Oh likes a lie in and it is hard enough keeping a ninemonth old quiet.

awwwww :o its ok though you dont need to be worried .. ive had really wide hips since zoe (she really changed my body shape) so my body does really dramatic dips my top half is really slim but my bottom half is really wide so that what im more focused on ... and the hurty head to be honest i think is more through stress it hasnt been the best start to the year have to admit they have eased off abit but thats stress for you comes and goes .. i do eat right though and definately have a good size dinner (love doing my dinners) ... but thank you though for being so caring x
    :)Still searching .....:)

I got a lovely lie in this morning :D Hubby took the baby down at 8:30 and bought her up to me for feedings at 10... Aimee's with Nanny... She's the biggest spoiler of lie ins... Even though she's told not to go into the bedroom when one of us is asleep she still finds reason to...

And in other news... Took Caitlyn a good 46mins to completely settle last night (she had a bit of a sleep on the way to the chinese buffet...) but she went from 9:46 all the way to 5:15!!! That's the most she's slept in months... I'm all :D today :D:D:D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
