Beenie - I have a box of 50 TT 'freedom' disposable breast pads that I don't need that the faries can send? Individually wrapped? PM directions if ya want them (PS Hope they the right ones cos they say £3.21 on them but I got them half price too!)

GRRRRR speaking of lie-ins this morning Molly woke me and I heard Husband telling her that he'd get up with her but she had to be quiet so they didn't wake Mama. Ten minutes later she's still chatting and he's still in bed. So I got up with her, Husband got up right after whinging that I'd ruined his surprise lie-in for me.

So far today I've cleaned and tidied the dining room, tidied the living room, fed Molly three times, dressed her, played with her for over an hour, organised some work stuff, sent an enquiry about his birthday/Valentines/anniversary present, showered, cleaned the bathroom, done dishes and sorted loads of rubbish to go downstairs. HE has faffed about on the computer and effed off back to bed after whinging at me because I objected to the state the kitchen was in, I'm trying Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hard here!!!

He's going to get a surprise when he wakes up....

Morning all!

Rhys and I woke up at 11am this morning. He slept in our bed last night - wasn't intentional, but I put him in the middle until OH came to bed and we both fell asleep. I remember waking up at 3am and OH still wasn't there (playing comp games, I suspect) but he was there when we woke up at 11am. Rhys woke me up by throwing his dummy at me.. repeatedly :cool:

Lazy day planned here, with a bit of filling the holes in the walls of Rhys' room for OH. Hopefully get some paint on the walls next weekend

I wasn't really organised! I'd been at the Baby Show in Birmingham the day before and ordered his cot and cot bedding; had bought his pram from my Godmother; and he had a selection of clothes (most of which he's not grown into yet!). Oh no, thinking about it, we had playgym, nappies, nappy bin all bought in the Asda Baby Event this time last year, but I think that's it. We didn't get the crib until about two weeks after he came home due to it not being in stock. I had no idea about labour/birth/breastfeeding, all that was supposed to be reading up once the rush at work had finished and I'd got my handover and training notes written up... never got those finished either! :rotfl:

Beenie, I was also going to offer fairy breast pads but I see you've had loads of fairies jumping to it before I could get there! but if you run out of those and still need more, I've also got massive quantities I'm not using (when I bought my breastpump, the seller threw them in free)

weezl, do you still do stuff like that or was it times of insanity for you? :rotfl: I'm always curious, as I actually read your threads on OS well before 'seeing' you on the Preg thread. You're famous!

Henry slept from 8.15pm - 8.20am - thats unheard of in this house!!! So we all had a lay in this morning ( well me till 7.40 and OH till 8.30)

Sami - Thanks for comments - I just think that its not right for William or
me - I am definately less stressed now EBM and FF - the breast feeding just doesnt happen as I am so full. It doesnt seem to matter if I express some off prior or not he just doesnt really like it and is so much better with FF... will carry on during the night but moving on to more FF as and when it happens

But they're not exactly pennies to post so i want to pay the postage by paypal gift, this is MSE and the kind fairies shouldn't be out of pocket!

Feelie - i've thought about washables but i'm not sure they'd be as convenient for me, i tend to let the piles of washing build up then do them all in one go :rotfl:

Every morning i'm waking up soaking wet, this morning my bra was thoroughly saturated in milk, and because i fell asleep feeding Amber, she was also wet :rotfl:

that reminds me that Finn did a HUGE projectile upchunk last night...he was laying in his Moses basket and seriously managed to get it up and over on the outside of the basket! not to mention all over the sheets and himself :rotfl: piggie boy ate too much!!

haha awww, Amber was quite sicky yesterday too. She doesn't even give me warning i just get half a pint of milk spilling out the side of her mouth, all over me. I didn't get muslins but i'm using spare moses sheets to mop up which are just as effective lol. It's quite upsetting to see her wasting my milk like that :rotfl:

I've put her in a proper outfit today, after 4 weeks of sleepsuits. She's got a cute little dress on with tights, she looks all grown up lol. It is newborn size so i thought i better get some wear out of it, not normally keen on tiny babies in proper outfits, especially when they're still a bit scrunched up and always wrapped in a blanket anyway

is it sad that we own exactly 1 'proper' outfit? I didn't acquire any really as we didn't know the sex but now I haven't had time to scour eBay for good bundles! not that Finn seems to mind
