Not true in my case, I didn't do much sleeping when Erin was young, I was constantly checking on her but she was always fine and I'm quite a light sleeper.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Jack has gone down - took a while but he's on his front again. Anyone else put their LO's on their front before the 6 month mark? I'm just being paranoid!
Ed has slept on his front since about 2mths old just like mummy
Maz - Do you want to stop the breast milk? I know you've mentioned it a few times but as I can't see your face when you say it I can't tell if you are just stressed and in the heat of the moment as it were or hoping for someone to tell you to stop/its ok to stop? *hugs* for you either way xx0 -

Nor in my case(s). And I kept them in my room until 8m & 11m.
I don't think I will ever sleep properly until they are 21!:rotfl:

fattybooboo - Edgar slept though(around 12-6am) when he was a little older than Toby but then stopped again, last night I fed him in bed while watching jonathon ross then we both got in our respective beds just as it finished we got up at 10:30 ish but in between he fed 4 or 5 times!! you just never know with babies they're a law unto thenselves!
Jenny - am I right in thinking your parents Christmas was their 3 daughters complete with 3 partners and 3 babies?0 -
My mum always tells me how me and my sisters slept on our fronts from the moment we were born with no ill effects and actually improved back muscles apparently.
If she falls asleep on me, on her side, i'll put Amber in her crib on her side and let her choose which way to go :rotfl: It varies between front and back, but my DS much preferred being on his front.0 -

Someone is offering a car on freecycle
Do they not realise they'll get about £100 for scrapping it? (it's an estate).
And to think, i always have a little chuckle to myself when i see 'wanteds' for cars0 -

Well, it's just my mum now but yes, and two of us actually stayed with my mum for two weeks (my younger sister only lives the other side of town) so the babies got to share bathsMum to DD born Oct 2009

Thanks for all of your replies.
Aless thats really interesting. As the 2 friends I was talking about said that they sometimes have left their babies when they wake during the night and often they will settle themselves back to sleep. I hadnt even considered doing this, so the night before last I tried it when toby woke, he was only gurgling and fidgeting, and sure enough after a while he went back to sleep for another hour and half. That made a total of 5 hours hours since his last feed which is the longest hes ever gone!! It didnt work last nite though, lol!! That would kinda tie in with what your HV told u too Ladybird. I will try it again tonight and see if he does settle himself.
Jennynoo, Toby also feeds lots during the evening, say 7-11ish, sometimes a bit earlier or later. I was also told this was cluster feeding so he would go longer. I guess the gap after his last feed is usually longer than the rest of the gaps through the night, but generally only about 3 hours ish.Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0
