hi everyone,
sorry, haven't had a chance to read back. hope everyone is well. hi to any newbie and hugs to who need.
for anyone who is wondering, cause i have been banging on about it a lot lately, here is what has happened tonight so far
Started bath/story/bottle/bed routine at about 7.30pm
I read the nursery rhyme book again (that i let her hold while i am dressing her, she likes pressing the button that makes the tune start) and finished on 'teddy bear teddy bear'. again, when it says 'turn out the light', i turn out the bedroom light and start to give her her bottle.
LO was quite dopey on the bottle so I woke her a little and put her in the cot. Kissed her and said good night and I love you.
She was asleep with in 5 minutes (about 8.05pm). Only a little bit of patting and singing from me.
She woke within about 40 minutes. Took only a few minutes to settle her back off. Just patted her slightly and 'shushed' her.
Woke again within another 30 mins or so. Was just finishing my bath. Went into the bedroom and she was standing up in the cot and crying. I laid her back down, patted her and shushed her again for bit. She didn't go right off as she fidgeted around a lot but just left her to it.
Oh last night .... she woke up must have been around 11pmish .. i think she went off again okay. she then woke at 1amish and again, went off okay. but the she woke around 2.30am and didn't settle properly until just before 4am. i ended up giving her some water and a bit of a bottle to help settle her as she just kept settling and then coming straight out of it.
good thing though --- i never got her out of the cot until i gave her half a bottle at 6am. she then went through to 8.30am.0
