Ta muchly :D How are you doing, Sarah? Enjoying your mat leave.. calm before the storm? ;)

Thanks elle I'm loving the mat leave so far! I'm sleeping so long that I don't know how I would be coping getting up to go to work if I was still in. I'm sleeping well at night, albeit waking about 3-4 times per night with BH's or needing to pee (or both) and getting about 10 hours per night! This morning I had to get up after "just" 8 hours so I had a 2 1/2 hour nap this afternoon!!

So yes, I'm definitely making the most of it! Had a pretty easy pg so far too so just enjoying myself and spending a lot of time with my feet up.

Could it be something to do with the temperature of the milk maybe? Does the EBM warm up as much as the formula cools down (if you're making it just before you use it)? :)

Rhys didn't seem to know the difference at first, but now he's gone back to preferring EBM and faffing about with formula bottles. Drinks it eventually, just not as easy as EBM.

Glad you had a nice day out :) Is Henry okay now?

Yep Henry is fine although wnated to go to be at 8.15 :eek:which is unheard of so worrying about tomorrow morning now:eek:

Generally EBM is given almost straight away ie warm or warmed up and the bottles are about same temp so not sure about this
    Congratulations JHA

Maz - have you been eating something different to normal to make it taste funny?

Not really as we tend to stick to same sort of foods

Orit is a lovely name. Does she look more like you or daddy?

Oh and don't you have to stay in now for 40 days or something and be tended to by your loved ones, or am I making things up now?!

he obviously enjoys the rocky road/biscuit/cake flavoured stuff :p
Wean machine (I think) is at the PO waiting forr me to get it :)

Maz - all I can think of that hasn't been said is that formula is more filling therefore satisfying for him?

Thanks Elle, We are doing really well :) Just haven't been on here much as I'm doing loads of attachment parenting and can't carry/feed and type at the same time - luckily now Erin is entertaining herself more so I can put her down and have some me time. We had a lovely Xmas, I went to stay with my mum for three weeks and spent loads of time with my two sisters and their babies. The best bit was when we all went swimming, Erin for the first time, and she loved it :) Want to go again but haven't managed to find a nice pool down here (S London). It's good to see that everyone seems to be doing well, all the babies seem to be growing up so fast!

The other day OH said we shouldn't have another baby because Erin is perfect and we can't be that lucky twice :D

I feel a bit like this as well :D
Glad Erin enjoyed swimming! I must take Jack again but what with the crap weather and all - I'll take him Monday while I still get the free swimming - only 2 or 3 weeks left. Will look into classes for him soon.

Odd question I know but - Can babies go off breast milk... William seems to prefer formula and I am having to increase those bottles as he is always sick with BM direct (when he will take it) and even EBM in bottles he is turning his nose up at?

Despite dodgy start to the day - Henry being sick 3 times we ended up going out for the day to London which was nice.... hope everyone else has had a nice day

Maz - My friends LO did this at around 10 weeks but I don't know why.

JHA - Little Dorrit - that's how I pronounced it! Is it Welsh? Not one I've heard of before.

SJ - I used to get annoyed when people said this to me but 'make the most of the rest while you can get it'!!!

Jack has gone down - took a while but he's on his front again. Anyone else put their LO's on their front before the 6 month mark? I'm just being paranoid!

SS - have sent your fairies directions over the water ;) ta muchly

Funny enough Sami, I can give him 4ozs of EBM and about an hour after he will be hungry again and take 2-3ozs of formula. He does settle better after FF as well

    Thanks SS - much appreciated!

Right, think I better log off now as I seem to offended someone on the Pregnancy Thread - Not even pregnant (either of us!) and about something that happened last year. :o
