Ah right! rice dream and oatly are only about 10p a litre cheaper so not a huge advantage there.....

I don't suppose there's a local farm shop where goats are milked is there sami?

also, this stuff is 94p at the mo, so that's quite good for the boys to have on toast?
Thanks for looking hun :kisses3: I'll give the soft cheese a whirl though hopefully it'll replace the mamouth amounts of philly we eat :D
not sure about getting it from a farm shop, I only of 2 round here but they're both just veggies

sorry it didn't work for you honey x
    :hello:

All gain is good gain, yes?

Andrew's only put on 100g (3oz) in 10 days ... Not really enough to keep the paediatrician happy. I don't want to phone her on Monday :( I know she'll tell me to put Andrew onto premmie formula for some of his feeds :(
I told you the other day all gain is good missy :D

can I just mention in a totally non judgemental way that food has less calories/fat than milkand therefore weaning is not condusive to weight gain...
Chris is a 'normal' child and he rarely gained more than 1oz per week past 17wks old, if he'd gained 3oz in ten days we'd be calling him fatty chunk bum :rotfl:

I like it. I think it's in Isaiah. But I can't even persuade OH that Caleb isn't too unusual so I wouldn't have a hope with a name like that.
I think it is in Isaiah, its definitely a biblical name acording to my googlings, Caleb is a gorgeous name but my OH veetoed it :(

oh Harley - a chefy guy called mark who's sometimes on saturday kitchen has a daughter called Kezia

Tia - why wouldn't Chris get a 1 on 1 helper at a 'normal' school? if he came to mum's school he would, they already have a lil boys with downs that had a similar level of speech as Chris when he started and the LEA fund his assistant

Becles - thankd for the milk info, maybe my big tesco will have own brand in stock :)

oh Susan I think the word discrete with regards to BFing should be banned!! It really gets my goat (is that the saying? ) If Edgar decideds to have a squinny when feeding and I flash my nipple as a result - so what?!

OMG Fat Families has just come on sky1 never watched it before but I feel sick just looking at what the family eat nevermind actually eating it!

I've done everything on my list for today - not sure what to do next :rotfl: I just did a bonus job I've been putting off for ages just for the sake of getting it done and now I feel all smug.

Did the survey - !!!!!!?!?! "a woman's right to breastfeed"? A woman's right is to not have to leave her child screaming from hunger because some Daily Mail-reading troglodyte believes that catching a glimpse of a breast behind an infant's head is going to cause anarchy.

And you know those are the same people who would tut and shake their heads if they encountered the same infant screaming from hunger.

...DH phoned earlier - his sat nav has broke so he needs to get a new one. Funny that - seeing as he's been banging on for weeks about getting a special one for trucks to use for work. I think the company should pay for it - it's more for their benefit than ours. But DH says it's him who would get the fine for going down a weight restriction/width restriction etc.....
I take it he can't see the signs at the start of these roads then? :p
my OH is the same with his gadgets and excuses

Yep! Worked at the normal til point in boots on Friday here. And the website is clear that newborn milk earns you no points, but 6 month plus formula earns 4 pence in the pound just like all other transactions.

Even more top tip, if SMA is an option Tara, they are 2 for £12 at the mo, so you could stock up enough til maddy's on cow's milk :rotfl:

agreed on all counts re: BF...definitely got a sniff that survey was intended to incite the anti-BF crowd and resulting show will probably be a totally pointless debate between the woman who BFs her dog and another who would prolly call the police if a woman so much as barely flashed a nipple in public.

    cycnical? moi? :D

tara - DH often has his problem as he drives for a profession. he's never sat down and worked out the maths, but he generally always opts NOT to have a company car as the tax is heinous.
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

Gonna pop on and off, must do some housework. Spent the last 2hrs trying to work out the car tax but haven't really got anywhere.

glad the soft cheese is a useful lead :) you're only 25 miles from the Delamere dairy (very large distributor of goat's milk) but they haven't got a shop on site sadly :(

Oh don't be sorry re: willy, I am very glad kester is a boy and I think two boys closer in age is even more lovely and playmatey for them both.

And I mustn't idealise the mother/daughter bond and imagine intimacy, sharing secrets and craft activities, because that's not always how it is in real life :)
