Tara you can use your boots point on everything but <6mth formula and certain vitamins/medicines

Yep! Worked at the normal til point in boots on Friday here. And the website is clear that newborn milk earns you no points, but 6 month plus formula earns 4 pence in the pound just like all other transactions.

Even more top tip, if SMA is an option Tara, they are 2 for £12 at the mo, so you could stock up enough til maddy's on cow's milk :rotfl:

agreed on all counts re: BF...definitely got a sniff that survey was intended to incite the anti-BF crowd and resulting show will probably be a totally pointless debate between the woman who BFs her dog and another who would prolly call the police if a woman so much as barely flashed a nipple in public.

tara - DH often has his problem as he drives for a profession. he's never sat down and worked out the maths, but he generally always opts NOT to have a company car as the tax is heinous.

We use Sma, so I could change now as she was 6mths this week. XXX

Gonna pop on and off, must do some housework. Spent the last 2hrs trying to work out the car tax but haven't really got anywhere. :eek:

glad the soft cheese is a useful lead you're only 25 miles from the Delamere dairy (very large distributor of goat's milk) but they haven't got a shop on site sadly

Oh don't be sorry re: willy, I am very glad kester is a boy and I think two boys closer in age is even more lovely and playmatey for them both.

And I mustn't idealise the mother/daughter bond and imagine intimacy, sharing secrets and craft activities, because that's not always how it is in real life

dont see why not, my mum used to make a 'peach upside doen cake' and the peaches aleays went nice and soft

Thanks for that Sami. All my friends think I made it up!!! I've been emailing them links to the actress who played Kezia Walker in the Bill. It's also in the bible according to my aunt but that had nothing to do with my choice. She's already written out the whole biblical passage on a card so that Kezia knows where her name comes from when she's older. Think I'll gloss over that as if I'd known I might have changed my mind. Religious stuff is not for me, however I appreciate that some others have great faith and won't knock it. What I object to is her writing me letters and setting me up with appointments 'if I can find time to attend' for Alpha Courses and stuff. Drives me up the wall. This is the same woman who gave Kezia chocolates for Christmas (at 3 months old) and wants to inflict herself on us every week. You can see I'm one of her biggests fans can't you.

Sorry bit of a rant again.

Anyway, Feelie, if you are around, fairies have been this morning and I am most grateful to them. Can stop being a scruff now and look like a proper feeding mummy. Maybe GMTV would like to take a look and my lovely new bracelet too.
