glad the soft cheese is a useful lead :) you're only 25 miles from the Delamere dairy (very large distributor of goat's milk) but they haven't got a shop on site sadly :(

Oh don't be sorry re: willy, I am very glad kester is a boy and I think two boys closer in age is even more lovely and playmatey for them both.

And I mustn't idealise the mother/daughter bond and imagine intimacy, sharing secrets and craft activities, because that's not always how it is in real life :)
Delamere is what asda sell :) they also handily offer a voucher for a free litre if you email them with why you like their milk so I plan on utilising MIL and mum's address ;)
I know how u feel about the daughter thing but Edgar clearly idolises Christopher already though so I can honestly say if I could go back in time I wouldn't swap him for a girl :)

Pinkpig - any formula is fine now, I think the 6mth+ stuff is cheaper so go for that :)

And can I ask because this always seems to be the issue with people who are against it: Have you ever seen someone breastfeeding in public not doing it discreetly?

I erm... have seen one woman making a very big deal out of breast feeding and make a complete tit of herself, she was very over the top. Yelling as people walked by, boob out and left hanging out as she put the baby back in the pram then she sat and faffed about putting things back in her bag before finally putting boob away. Attention seeking, think she was disappointed that nobody tutted.

Maybe she was a journalist :rotfl:

Tia - why wouldn't Chris get a 1 on 1 helper at a 'normal' school? if he came to mum's school he would, they already have a lil boys with downs that had a similar level of speech as Chris when he started and the LEA fund his assistant

You tell me Sami  When I did ask I was told that it just wouldn't happen. Parents have to fight for years. We'd get a couple hours a day and be grateful apparently. I have to look into though. Don't know nearly enough about it all.

    Hi

May i join please? Baby orit-rhian arrived on 6th Jan. A huge thank you to those that helped me with the info on pre-eclampsia:D Didnt write a birth story as too horrible:o suffice to say it was a failed induction and emergency c/sec due to failure to progress and feotal distress.

Pre - eclampsia is still hanging on in there and have nasty womb infection - but cant complain got a lovely baby girl and she was worth every seccond of it:D and :T:T to the staff at UHW in cardiff whose emergency care was excellent:D

Course you can join! And if you ever do decide you need to ofload to someone who has done the whole Pre-eclampsia and horrible birth thing, my PM box is open. It does get better though.

I filled out the questionnaire, with my very militant views, so if they want someone to counter the 'breastfeeding is indecent' person, they have me!

Welcome JHA, I was induced due to pre-eclampsia and was prepped for a c-section due to baby being in distress, you have my sympathies.

jha - she is gorgeous and so tiny!

OH just feeding Jack some apple - problem is I made it a bit too lumpy, added hot water to warm it up and thin it out but it's a bit watery. Was the batch I made before I got the hand blender so will try him on the apple I made yesterday when I feed him tomorrow.

Congratulations JHA :) Haven't been on here much recently, you lot chat too much for me to keep up but things have settled down a bit now so I'm hoping to keep up more.

Just had to deal with a horrid delivery from Asda - broken eggs, leaking pasta sauce and leaking washing up liquid. Broken egg on my rug as well :( Now I have to find out how to complain.

aw jenny how poop! I don't order online so wouldn't know.

How if OH was feeding Jack did I end up with Apple all over me? (nice clean clothes too after a lovely soak in the bath)

Because OH decided to get him out the highchair and Jack kicked the leftovers and they landed on me - nice

BIL @ rugby and might go out later (please, please, please) - he has a nasty habit of nicking my seat when I go to put Jack to bed AND earlier on mentioned he might start using OH's weights in the summer - !!!!!!?!!!

Jenny just call the number on your invoice thingy, you'll probably get an indian call centre at this time/weekend so they won't have much more to offer than rtefund on damaged goods. I suggest calling them accept whatever they offer then email uk cust services :)
