Can I just ask a quick question re: formula?
I'm starting to introduce 1 FF a day as that's what Caitlyn will be having when she goes to the CM in April (maybe 2 sometimes). Which do I get? She is 6 months and I'm using Aptimil. Do I get the first one or the follow-on one? We have started BLW but still BFing.
Thankyou
We never bothered with follow on Milk as HV said it wasnt really worth it..just moved on to stage 2 Aptimil and then cows milk at 1yoand for those who like to know, tomorrow if sainsburies have it in then I shall get 6 litres of full fat UHT milk
:j:beer: I use it to make indian paneer cheese, and I absolutely love saag paneer, so will make a batch to freeze ready for when Kester comes. So pleased

jennynoo, we're not "seen" you much lately.. How are you and Erin getting on?

Thanks Elle, We are doing really well
Just haven't been on here much as I'm doing loads of attachment parenting and can't carry/feed and type at the same time - luckily now Erin is entertaining herself more so I can put her down and have some me time. We had a lovely Xmas, I went to stay with my mum for three weeks and spent loads of time with my two sisters and their babies. The best bit was when we all went swimming, Erin for the first time, and she loved it
Want to go again but haven't managed to find a nice pool down here (S London). It's good to see that everyone seems to be doing well, all the babies seem to be growing up so fast!
The other day OH said we shouldn't have another baby because Erin is perfect and we can't be that lucky twice

We've opened the tomato snacks - imagine similar orange mush all over their top  - and berry ricecakes. Both rather bland! _pale_ We've got sweetcorn snacks and apple ricecakes in the cupboard.. need Rhys to hurry up and eat his way through the open ones. It says on the pack six tomato snacks is one serving.. Rhys has two then gets bored
ETA: Just heard from OH.. they're on their way home, stopped off at services about 40mins from home to "investigate" an unpleasant aroma coming from the back seat.. :rotfl: I assume OH has grabbed himself a cuppa too :rolleyes:0 -
I must be weird - I like having company when I go for a bath so I had OH and Alice doing their origami in the bathroom while I had a bath this morning. Have you tried talking to him about it? Perhaps if he is concerned you can have some agreement where say for example he pops in every five minutes to make sure you are okay rather than be there continuously?
I don't mind company but I don't like being watched. He is going for a bath now so I've obviously proved myself trustworthy! Only problem with Toby playing in the bathroom is he can switch off the light!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

sorry to hear you're still having pre-eclampsia issues. i saw on FB you had been bacl in hospital. I had to change meds and was unable to b'feed then. (disappointed at time but ok now)
I cant breastfeed either - the meds already affected her in utro - but she enjoys her bottle feeds anyway.got-it-spend-it wrote: »Congratulations, jha! So glad to see you on here. Sorry to here about the pre-eclampsia problems. Orit-Rhian is so beautiful- I just saw the pics on the pg thread! How's it going now you're home, feeding, sleeping-wise etc.....
She is feeding well - not sleeping during the night though:rolleyes: She is a nocturnal baby:rotfl:
Thanks very muchMillie's_Mum wrote: »Welcom JHA and Orit-Rhian, I had failed induction and EMCS due to failure to progress with my first, if you ever want to talk it through feel free to PM me. It doesn't matter how they get here, but it took me a long time to accept that at the time.
Weezle - the aftercare was terrible but its due to short staffing and the midwives themselves are excellent - a couple of nights ago we had 1 mw and 1 student mw and 1 nusery nurse to 16 new mums - four of us were high risk

JHA, can I ask what may seem like a very silly question, but how do you pronounce your daughters name

Just jumping in again.... But Elle if you deicde to eat the kiwis I find cutting them in half then scooping out the flesh with a teaspoon is easiest, especially once they are really rip and juicy.0
