:rotfl: OH just put the phone down on me in a huff  all because I told him off for putting the bins out in the 'wrong' place :p He put them still on the drive right up against the fence so when the bin men come trundling down the road (because we're the only ones with bins for about a 400m stretch)they won't/haven't seen them and hence won't/havent get emptied  why can't he see that it's easier to put them where they can be seen than me spending 30mins on the phone and having them hang around for days

    And she appears. :D

Hmmmm - i'm not sure. CSA have access to Child Bens and Tax credits systems, as well as the central benefits database that has everyone who's ever claimed anything on it. But I think they're meant to use the name they have on record unless you have asked them to change it in their records.

Does A have your name now?, or your old name? That could cause a lot of problems if they send a letter to him putting A down as another name? Not like legal trouble, but the change of a childs name is something that winds men up!
Would the letter he have say 'You have to pay KRYSTALTIPS £xxx' Or 'You have to pay A £xx'?

She has my married name at school and swimming and anything else I put her name down for now... I haven't changed it officially, we're going to get round to hubby adopting her sooner or later now we've done our 12months married and her name will be changed then... Although I did try and change it with the Drs after I changed my name and they wouldn't... Stoopids... I expect he'll come crawling out of the woodwork for five minutes though as soon as we get the ball rolling...

And :rotfl:@Liv's tummy trouble... Did you send her with a couple of oranges?

    only joking!

Goodness, don't send him to Birmingham!!!!

Glad you got a good nap in hun :)
Krystal - I want to look up a few medications, the rating for them isn't on Hales Forum, nor the Kellymom site, where else can I look?
Check out http://www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/drugs-in-breastmilk-information-and-factsheets and if the information isn't there, there is a link for you to contact Wendy the pharmacist who writes all the fact sheets. She's very good at getting back to you quickly with relevent information and studies to back it up. :)

I took some Edgar eating pics yesterday, he's obviously a genius because I gave him a cup for the first time ever and he sucked the water out (then spat it out when he realised it wasn't milk lol)

also is it any wonder 'people' think BFers are weird when people sell stories like this?! http://www.pickmeupmagazine.co.uk/real_lives/I_breastfeed_my_dog_article_293284.html
    We have genius children :D:D

I think it's because we left it later than we did the first time... Instead of trying to force them before they're ready, they obviously just developed the right reflexes in their own time... (Maybe you should try him with a straw? ;)) Oh and Caitlyn 'gets' the Amadeus cup too!!!

Oh and that woman is clearly nuts... And obviously doesn't realise saliva tracks back up through the nipple into her system.... Disgusting woman!!! _pale_

Congratulations on the new job Elle, and the new nephew Bruno and good luck with Quango MFD!!!

More cute baby pics... I can't get enough of them :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Woo hoo Elle - shall we sip our champagne together??

Weezl - for the short term it probably won't mean much to my working week but it will mean more money as I will officially be 'A Consultant' :D I could potentially do less hours for the same money and might introduce at least one early afternoon a week if I can :p
Long term, getting a commission with a quango, albeit through the back door (my company will be working for the company of my partner/boss who I did the tender with), is a massive thing and makes my prospects for consultancy within other government bodies look rosy!
    Make any sense?

Yep! And all sounds great. Will keep everything crossed for you :)

I have a question about BLW, thanks loads for all the recent posts about it especially to susan for sharing Alice's first tastes diary :)

If like us, some of your meals are not suitable finger food (shepherdless pie, lasagne, cous cous, soup etc etc...) would a true BLWer not give those flavours yet? I tried smearing it on toast or a rice cake, but I then don't feel fergie is experiencing eating the normal diet, and also toast and rice cakes are worse for his perennial constipation issues than sloppier meals IYSWIM?

    Any thoughts?

A dedicated RL mummy friend is baking breadstick tye things to include all of the sloppy stuff so that it's still finger food, but I agree with MFD that BLW feels like it should be less about anxious mummies having to do lots of extra tasks!

only used it once but yea it seems fine. was easy to put together. I did it in about 10mins. I find the tray tricky to put on but I'm just a pleb!

aless - be careful with spotify. I ended up with a Trojan Horse on my lappy from it & they hacked my ebay account and possibly tried my online banking as well.

Weezl, I tend to give LO a small bowl of runny things and let him help himself, or I load the spoon for him. When he is feeling lazy (or I don't feel up to the mess) I'll help him spoon feed. Or dip crackers in the sauce.
